Just what I needed to put on the backwash outlet of my pool pump so I can quickly hook up the drain hose.

Works great for boat pump out. West Marine wants $60 for one. This has 2.

Cheaply made.

The size connects perfectly to our 1 1/2" PVC tubing to make a quick disconnect of our backwash hose to the pump, so we don't have to leave it connected and so we can reel up the 50' hose. We could have used more teflon tape to hopefully make it stop leaking, but it's okay, it only drips a little when we're backwashing.

Perfect fit and wuality

Well made. Yes for pump out for the boat. Fits properly. Able to get good connection and suction with pump out pump. No leakage noted. Only down side is it sinks if dropped in the lake. We added floating key chains to slow how fast is sinks so can grab with fishing net.

Good quality fittings at a decent price.
