How much resin is required for 1 x chess set and board?

I'm not sure. I mixed 60ml for the black and white chess board first and it was too much, then 200 ml for a coat for the chess board and it was about right. I did the chess men in 2 pours, 100 ml of each colour for the first pour with glitter, then another 100 mil of each colour for the base of the chess men. I hope this helps.

Has anyone been successful in not getting air bubbles in their chess pieces?

Yep! Did plenty of research before casting these and learned that hearing up the resin in warm water once mixed helped loads. A slow careful pour along with making sure the full interior of the silicone was covered well really helped. I had one or two pieces with little surface bubbles but nothing noticeable. It takes a lot of patience though!

Can you tell me what the round molds are for? Im guessing to add to bottom of chess pieces? Glue on?

They are for making Draughts/Chequers pieces.

Hi, what is the total volume of liquid required to make the chest set with Resin?  I am looking into buying and wanted to know how much liquid I need

In Total approx  808ml. The board takes a total of 4 mixes, for the light coloured squares, 32x2ml =64ml, the same amount for the dark coloured squares, the outer edge 40ml, and the remainder of the board (the back) 400ml. The Pieces total 240ml, kings 2x12ml, queens 2x12ml, bishops 4x8ml, rooks 4x10ml, knights 4x10ml, pawns 16x2.5ml. Note that you only get moulds for half a set of pieces, 8 pawns, 2 rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 1 queen, 1 king, so it is 2 mixes for the pieces, (120ml each), hope this helps. Also when pouring the pieces, fill the moulds by just over half, (past the main collar) and gently squeeze mould (main collar) to remove trapped air bubbles, then when satisfied that no bubbles remain in collar, fill to top of mould, also whilst squeezing, check the bottoms of moulds (crowns, pips, etc) for air bubbles, if a air is trapped anywhere in mould pieces will not be complete, this is a good set of moulds, but takes a lot of care to produce the perfect set, enjoy.
