The highlight was completely shattered upon taking it out of the box. The mattes were good but the shimmer shadows were not pigmented.

Bought it twice, arrived damaged both times. The highlighter was pulverized beyond repair each time. Sad.

It came broken.

I want to start this review by saying that I am a makeup artist. I have done makeup with some of the nicest brands out there and some of the worst. This palette falls in the middle toward the top somewhere.PALETTE QUALITYThe quality of the palette itself is very nice. There is a nice mirror inside and the hinges seems to be pretty sturdy. The set up of the pans is good and they are well organized for easy use.HIGHLIGHTERLet's start with the highlighter. This highlighter is more of the type that you use with a stippling brush. That is the one you see with two colors of hairs in it- longer white ones and shorter black ones. That will enable you to more evenly distribute the highlighter on the skin to allow for a glow vs a glittery slash on the face. This highlighter is pretty nice and is similar to a candle glow color.BRONZERSThe two bronzers in this set are for medium to light and medium to darker tones- not dark though. These bronzers are best applied with a bronzer brush that is somewhat fluffy but has the hairs spread out and not super tight. That allows for good color distribution on the skin but not dark streaks.The lighter one can be worn with lighter and neutral to cooler skin tones and the darker one is better on medium skin tones or someone with a tan.EYE SHADOWSThese are nice but you will need to use an eye primer with them. That is a thin layer (do not apply thickly) of eye cream which will allow the shadow to stay on the lids, blend well, and not come off easily. If you apply very lightly you can get beautiful looks.MATTESThe matte shadows are best with a fluffy tear drop brush for blending and a flat brush for applying to the lids and contour. They will need to have a primer under them for sure.SHIMMERSThe shimmers are best with the same kind of brushes, but if you really want a burst of shimmer, you will need to use the flat brush to press the shadow into place instead of side to side motion.WHAT TYPE OF PERSON?This is a warm palette. The idea is that you will be using this to give a sun kissed look, but honestly if you are really cool toned, this might not work on you. With a tan, yes. If you lean toward neutral or warmer tones, this will be something you can use daily.PHOTOSI tried to capture this in photos, but the look is so subtle it really was not working out that well. IF I get good photos to show you, I will update. I wanted to get this review out as soon as I could and not wait any longer.THE BOTTOM LINEGreat for neutral to warmer skin tones, this palette is a nice quality. It will help cooler skin to have a sunkissed look or be more useful for cooler skin with a tan in summer.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. This is nicer than many middle of the road cosmetic palettes I have used. It is not as nice as my favorites, but it is a good quality palette that I can recommend.COUNTRY OF ORIGINThis is a palette made in Korea which tends to have pretty nice makeup and skin care.

The eyeshadow colors are very pretty in this palette and compliment each other nicely. But the eyeshadows had quite a bit of fallout though, and the shimmery colors I did notice some clumping. I still managed to make it work. The formulas are ok, there’s a good variety of finishes. I did have to use a couple extra swipes with makeup remover, and after wearing it for about 6 hours, I did notice some shimmer underneath my eyes, and even more after taking off. I had it on for 6 hours and didn’t notice any creasing.I do really like that you get 5 eyeshadows, 2 bronzers and even a highlighter, and as far as the bronzer and highlighter, they work well for me and blended easily without looking cake-y, the bronzers are not just matte, they have a little bit of shimmer to them, but it’s not overpowering. There is a nice size mirror inside to, which i always appreciate. Because of it having shadows, a highlighter and a bronzer, it makes it great for travel so you don’t need to bring separate products.I have dry, sensitive skin and no negative reactions, while on, or after taking off. They cruelty free, made in Korea, and is good for 24 months after opening.Overall, while it’s not my favorite, i would use it again with a good primer and setting spray.

This is a nice palette. The colors are very pretty. They're neutral colors that are good for everyday wear. It comes with 5 eyeshadow colors, 2 bronzer colors, and 1 highlighter. The colors are well pigmented. The highlighter is shimmery and does a good job highlighting my skin. I like to use it in the inner corners of my eyes. I sometimes use the bronzers as eyeshadows, as well. I appreciate that this palette is cruelty free.

Unfortunately this arrived with one of the larger bronze pallets busted up - so beware, it's possible to arrive with broken make up (was quite a mess to clean and repair). Overall this is an okay set. Some of the colors seem to apply better than others, like the pigment isn't strong enough and doesn't even look like it's been applied, even after multiple applications. I know some girls like to sit and do their make up for hours to perfection: Im not one of them. When I apply makeup I want to do as few strokes or applications as possible yet want it to look natural and flawless, so having to continually dip back into product to achieve look was annoying. Colors work well together though.

I'm not familiar with the Joah brand so I had no idea what to expect with this palette. I love bronzer and I am not one of those people that want just a barely there wash of color. I want to see my bronzer. I like both of the bronzer shades in this palette. Both of them work well on my light skin tone. They may be too dark for those of you with a light tone that only want a light wash of color. My favorite bronzer is Nars Laguna and these reminded me of it because they have a slight shimmer to them and the shades are similar.The highlight in the palette is very pretty. The matte eyeshadows are very blendable and I didn't have any fall out from them. The shimmers are just ok and the deep shimmer is very dry.I personally think the bronzers are where it's at with this palette. Also the packaging is super cute and I like that it's plastic and not cardboard.
