Great power distribution unit
What a great product, works great in the rack and I love all the outlets in back. Keeps everything clean and has options to plug into the front.

Great Rackmount Power solution for all your gear
Excellent rackmount solution to power plenty of gear. The USB ports are nice to keep your portable electronics charged during those long sessions. I also have a couple sets of monitors not pictured here powered from the rear outlets, and I love that there's now one switch to power them all without having to go round and switch on a dozen different bits of gear

Cleaned up the clutter
This pigtail PDU allowed me to put all my power cords inside my stereo cabinet. Doing this let me retire a couple of surge protectors and clean up the area outside of my cabinet.

Best rack power distribution device ever!
Terrific design! The pigtail power on the back is a game changer. Why didn't I think of that?! Now, no wall wart power supplies will take up more than one outlet. You have to reach in with both hands to plug in, but with 16 outlets in the back, you may never run out of power. Three utility outlets in the front and four USB power outlets, this unit is perfect. I'm not even taking away a star for no lights. (I bought a $12.99 EVISWIY Sewing Machine Light with a terrific magnet and gooseneck to light up the rack much better than the rack lights ever could.) There's no better distribution device anywhere near this price point.

Great product but the mounting brackets are not standard
So, like other reported, the screw holes dont align with the standard racks.if you are not afraid of using power tools then just use a drill bit for metal to enlarge the holes on each side.we did that and that bad boy is going nowhere and you dont notice it.Very useful with the extra power outlets and USB ports on the front. I would buy again.

Improperly wired, no conditioning, no half hot
This product is potentially dangerous and should be avoided. After having some issues and contacting the company with no response, I investigated. I have some knowledge with electronics so I opened up the unit to have a look. This is advertised as having half hot, meaning that some outlets always have power while others have power only when switched on. That is not the case and all outlets are wired through the switch. In addition, I found that there is zero surge protection or conditioning - all outlets are wired directly to the main plug without any conditioning in between. Finally and most seriously, all outlets with the exception of the three front panel outs are wired backwards. They have reversed the polarity such that the hot wire from the plug is wired to the neutral socket on every one of the outlet pigtails.Reverse polarity:Increase potential electrical shocksCauses fire accidentsMay damage your house or office electrical equipmentMay result in frequent tripping fuses and circuit breakersThe pigtails are a nice feature but this product is dangerous and should not be used.

Solid, but with flaws.
As a simply AC Power distributor, it's solid. Lots of outlets on the back, each one with it's own short cord instead of flat mounted so adapters, or wall warts, don't take up any more outlet space than any other power cord. The front panel has 4 USB-A outlets that put out a total combined current of 5A, but "CHARGE" is misspelled as "CHAGE". This is the 2nd unit I've gotten and on both, they can't seem to get the vertical spacing for the rack ears correct. You can only put in all four screws if you vertically offset the unit by 1 screw hole which invades the rack space on the top or bottom. But if you're looking for a high-quality professional looking and performing power distribution center, keep looking. This is simple, basic and has flaws that show it was made on the cheap. It is nice having one simple power switch mut mountability is not ideal.

Yep it's exactly what the description says
Yeah so we've had no issues with this and I totally prefer the flexible power on this unit rather than the standard one to buy.

Heavy duty device
Heavy duty device and is working great. Very well protective for my audio devices

Is it normal to hear a slight buzz?
Is it normal to hear a slight buzz from the unit? It isn't loud but I can hear it when I place my ear very close to it.Other than that work exactly as advertised.

Excellent product, but take note if mounting in a 19" rack.
The Pro Audio Power Supply Surge Protector (PCO865) is a great product. My only complaint is, the unit should be able to be mounted in a universal rack. The mounting slots on the device's front mounting brackets are wider apart than the standard 19" rack hole spacing (18.312" centre to centre). I had to elongate the slots to be able to secure the device in the rack. This is the reason I gave it a 4 out of 5.

You can't rely on the USB ports
I bought this PDU because I liked the fact that it had USB ports on the front. This meant I could charge my devices without managing multiple charging blocks, even if the charging would be slower. In reality, the USB ports do not work with more recent devices. I ordered a replacement, and I had the same issue. The weird thing is that each port is different, and the second one from the left is the worst.I tested with a few devices, and it worked with an old iPhone 4 and a USB battery. Those are the only two devices that were able to charge. It didn't work with a Samsung S10e and an iPad as they wouldn't detect any charge. There is definitely something weird going on, and I wouldn't recommend anyone using those ports. The plugs in the back all work fine, and it is still going to work fine in my homelab. The only reason I am not returning it for a refund is that I need it now, and it is already cable managed.
