Zoo Med Reptitherm Undertank Heater 10-20 Gal 6x8

So I’ve bought this heat mat once before for my leopard gecko and he absolutely loved it (usually he sleeps on it at night) and then a few months after I got my leopard gecko I bought a ball python, at the time he was on just a 4w heater and I decided he wasn’t getting very much warmth from it, so that’s when I decided to buy him one of these and personally this is my new favorite under tank heater. It works wonderfully, it usually heats up to its full in about 10 to 20 minutes. if you do decide to purchase this I would recommend buying a thermostat because this heater will reach about 120 degrees very quickly and this will burn your animal, and it will save you the vet bill.

It works very well and heats quickly, but it also gets very warm so be careful where you put it and maybe not put it all over the thing you want to heat as you might fry the animal you're trying to just keep warm. Mine is under about 1/3 of my tarantula's home and it helps in the winter or when it gets cold out.

Quite good for my ball python’s tub enclosure! I checked with a temp gun and these mats can go up to 120F to 130F -ish when used by itself, so I am using a thermostat (Zoo Med Reptitemp) in conjunction with the mat. I want to be able to reuse this mat so I smoothed heavy duty aluminum foil over the sticky side and just taped it to the bottom with HVAC tape. (A temperature probe was placed between the heat pad and the bottom of tub) So far so good, my BP loves to hide over the warm end.

I’ve had this heat pad for over a year for my ball python. It still works really well and he goes to it when he wants to be on the warm side. The adhesion part kind of sucks though. I just depend mostly on the weight of the tank.

As a wildlife rehabilitator specializing in reptiles, I've been using Zoomed heating pads for over 20 years. They're the best. I've noticed customer complaints about the pads not sticking well, but what I've discovered is that plugging the pad in and letting it warm up before you apply it results in the pad being softer/more pliable at the time of application and the glue making complete contact with the (clean) glass.

I've been using this product for over two years and it's still running perfectly! I have it hooked up to a thermostat to safely regulate the temperature of my snake's enclosure so I don't have to worry about him getting burnt or my house catching fire. I have a spare heat mat ready just in case if this one dies but so far it's continued to produce heat every day without fail!

I use this on the side of our terrarium for our hermit crabs. It works great without me worrying about any overheating.

It heats fine, but it doesn't stick. I've got it on the bottom of a glass terrarium (the terrarium is on a bottomless stand) and it falls off constantly. Had to use duct tape to keep it on. I used this same product for years before and never had this problem, so it might just be this specific pad.

Son tapetes muy buenos, tengo uno con más de 2 años y nunca a fallado. El consumo de luz es bajo. Nosotros ya no usamos foco, lo sustituimos con 3 tapetes.
