Very durable charger with high technology
This charger is built to be very durable and is built using high quality monocrystalline cells which means the cells are more efficient and work better at temperature extremes. I really like the construction of this charger, it is stiff enough to hold it's shape when you want to stand it up or lean it, and flexible enough to drape over curved tent, car, etc. The charge controller seems very smart about turning off and on when enough light is available and also I appreciate the led to show when it's charging. The charger is lightweight and folds down to a nice size for stowing in backpack or briefcase. I used the charger to charge my backup battery or directly charge my phone. The sun is the main challenge with solar chargers - you often need to be creative to place panels to get the most light, and this charger has eyelets at the corners for anchoring with carabiners, cords, etc, so I'm always able to find a good position to maximize the charging. I used the charger while on a motorcycle camping trip and was able to use the tent or the bike to hold the charger, and I was able to strap it over my tailbag to charge while riding.I also appreciate that there is no battery - I prefer to keep the battery separate since then I can choose what battery to bring or just charge my devices directly. Also these panels should last much longer than the battery cells would.

Great product for the price.
We took this solar panel on a 4 day backpack trip. It keaped my phone charge up and my wifes phone. In the sun it would charge to 100% in about an 1.5 hours. It even worked when then was a slight cloud cover but the charging was slower. Excellent product!

Not enough kick
I’ve decided that in order for these things to really be practical and worth my while, 28w is about as low as is reasonable to start with. This particular solar panel is fantastically made, it simply isn’t as efficient as I need it to be. At 20w, it takes forever to charge a battery pack, whereas if I start with a solar panel that is only slightly more powerful at 28w, I start experiencing (what seems to me) charge times similar to a wall outlet.

It’s good for small devices
So first thing is first, I’ve used a couple different solar devices and none of them have performed. So for this panel, ease of use is absolute! Unfold, tie down or clip, and charge up.The amount of sunlight that is captured is phenomenal and the appearance is like that of a small note pad.As for the quality, this device is good for a small folding fan or small light but as for cellphones or laptops, I don’t think it performed well. I plugged into it and the device drained my cellphone more so than charged it which is the exact opposite of what it’s supposed to do.If this wasn’t an issue, I’d highly recommend it for the field but this is a problem, so carry a portable pack with you.Other than that, it’s definitely nice to have on you just in case.

Lightweight, packable, waterproof, cloud interruption restart
Excellent for camping or any use off grid, lightweight water proof, junction box points down, works in low light, cloud interruption restart, I got 2.3amps sunny but with high cirrus clouds so should do better in total blue sky, as with any folding solar array if you don’t have to fold them then don’t because eventually the fold may lose connection over many many folded uses that being the only vulnerable parts. All in all, I’m very satisfied!

Worthless Solar charger panels
I bought this unit about a year ago, and I never put it to test, it’s always sat in my living room, and I always been under impression that it’s fully charged, since it does not have anything displayingThe charge, it’s hard to tell if it is charged or not.So I decided to test it. I left it out in the patio under the sun for a whole sunny day. I plugged in my cell phone to see if it charges my device,NOTHING!!!Tested it again,NOTHING!!!! What a waste of money. Too late to return good for the recycler.Don’t waste your money🤔

Rugged and works as advertised
This small panel charges as advertised. It can refill a 20,000 mAh battery on a sunny day while camping. Don't bother using it on cloudy days. It seems fairly rugged and I have used it on 20 trips.

Great easy to take along size foldable
What a great price for such advanced portable solar cells like one of those old facial Tanners used to bring to the beach years ago OK that didn’t help anyone younger who have no idea what I’m talking about . Very powerful I left him outside for 15 minutes with my phone and it’s fall in that time it had bumped my cell phone power from 50% to 86% granted I had shut the phone off but that’s quite amazing
