Blew my mind how good this is for $20
Pickup sounds awesome. Its very punchy and hot sounding, good for metal. The pickguard holes didnt line up but i kind of expected that. Installed in an old Arbor strat copy. Definitely worth the money.

Great!
I now have three of these installed in my Strat builds.I love the pickups: Hot, punchy, and just really awesome sounding. They are certainly lively and complement my other builds sitting in my daily player rack quite nicely. So, glad I found these!

Decent Pickup for the Price
I put the pickguard on a Cozart body and had to modify the neck pocket (on the pickguard) to fit. The holes lined up perfect after altering the neck pocket. The pickup is hot and slightly hollow sounding, but it sounds good with downtuning. Wiring was easy but my specific pickguard came with a black (hot) and two white (ground) wires instead of the listed red and black wires. Volume knob plastic is cheap and the numbers wear off quickly, the pot is smooth when turning and all electronics worked correctly.

Outstanding for the price
I used this for a B&W VH project guitar. It fit into a Badcat DIY HSS Strat kit after some very minor pup cavity sculpting (which the pickguard hides anyway, so I didn't have to be surgical about it). Make sure your soldering job is good and add full shielding. I did swap the black volume knob for a white tone knob. I can't speak for the pot and wiring since I swapped those out, but I can say the pickup and pickguard are outstanding quality for this price. The pickup is HOT. The multimeter has it bouncing around the mid 15's. I need the volume rolled down to 7 (and even as low as 3 sometimes). I was eventually going to get a SD '78 pup for this guitar, but honestly with proper Katana brown settings it already sounds darn close to the legend. The only thing missing is skill, technique and decades of practice, Lol. I would definitely buy this again if I had a similar project. No regrets at all.

Just needed some breaking in
Volume pot was pretty scratchy even after working it back and forth for a while. Used some pot cleaner/lubes. Sound is great for the money, but definitely not high quality pots which is to be expected at the price point. The wiring however was good and the wires themselves of a decent guage (20-22?). Used for a EVHish partscaster for my son and turned out pretty nice.Update: So after a week or so of playing this lil setup has turned into a real monster. While I wouldnt say it's better than a $300 loaded pickguard, it's far better for the money than one would ever expect. I've never known pickups to have a breaking in period but perhaps they do. Regardless buy this for playing the hard stuff and you'll never regret it.

Sounds great
Perfect for what I was looking for. I’ve had this strat since 1994 and it has been used and abused. I decided it needed some love so I turned it into a Tom Delonge (Blink 182) style strat. I had to drill a few new holes and trim the pick guard around the neck a little bit but no big deal. Well worth the 25 bucks!

Sounds pretty decent to me
In my opinion the sound quality to money ratio is solid. This loaded pickup doesn't look particularly high quality under the hood, but I hooked it up and it worked well and sounded solid. For the extremely low price, this is a no-brainer. I'm digging the simplicity and tones I am getting and the $50 Asian strat clone I got off marketplace is sounding really good.It did take some trimming and new holes to fit my particular generic strat style guitar. Your mileage may vary.Sound wise though you can't possibly be too disappointed for the price.

Usable but sure doesn't fit properly
It does work for a strat style guitar but there are some major flaws. 1st is theres no tone control circuit so there'll be a surprising amount of treble (aka bright as guitarists often say) so take that into account. The cutout where the humbucker is placed too far back so you'll need to trim the inside of the cavity near the bridge or it won't fit. Also the small hole for the alignment tab on the volume pot is a bit 2 small so the pot will sit cockeyed until that's fixed.
