Works well
Iโve used it before but after reading negative reviews I must comment. This is what I do. The directions donโt specifically state it, but one package is only enough for one denture, either top or bottom, but not both or the reline will be way too thin and not cushion adequately. #1: oozing. The trick here is not to use too much product. The package has more than youโll need, so after mixing, stir, stop for 10 seconds, and stir again. You donโt want it runny, just thick enough to not easily run off the denture so gently stir until thick enough. It doesnโt take long so do not leave the mixture at this point. If it doesnโt stay on the denture it wonโt work. This also minimizes the taste because it doesnโt go all over in the mouth. 2: when itโs thick enough and in the denture, place the denture into your mouth, but DO NOT BITE DOWN! DO NOT BITE AT ALL! I canโt stress this enough. I donโt even .let the top and bottom touch. First, you canโt tell how hard you are biting with dentures. And second, too much pressure causes the reline material to ooze and whatever oozes lessens the cushion of the liner. Once in your mouth gently lay (NOT PUSH) your open index and middle fingers (to form a V for evenly steadying), just laying them there to keep it from moving. Use both hands to stabilize both sides. No you wonโt have too much on the denture, you want a nice cushion which is what a reline does, to make it snug. And even without pressure it will mold to your gums. As stated in the directions, when it tells you to, cut off the excess with a small, sharp knife, but trim only overhang. Stop there! Finish the process and wear the denture(s). By wearing the denture and eating you will more easily feel and spots that need trimmed. It can take a day or 2 to notice and rubbing or discomfort, it took 2 days for me to know actually where to trim. When it does, put your index finger directly where it uncomfortable or sore and keep it there as you remove the denture so you can better tell where to trim. ONLY trim a very small amount and try them and cut a very small amount and wait because itโs very very easy to remove too much. I use an emery board, so you donโt cut too much, using rough side and then smoother side, but lightly! Donโt fret if it takes several days to get get the right adjustment, itโs well worth it not to rush the process. Remember the dental office works a little at a time so you should also. Happy relining! I hope it works for you!

Re-line your dentures yourself, and save hundreds while doing it
Nobody really wants to discuss their denture problems, but after 2 years of my dentist trying (but failing) to make my dentures fit, I was desperate to have them finally fit correctly so I could wear them, I'd like to share my experience with other denture wearers. If you follow the instructions (to the letter), it's much easier than it sounds to do a quality, great fitting re-line yourself, at a tiny fraction of what you'd pay the dentist. And if your experience is like mine was, they'll also fit a lot better doing it yourself. The fact is that nobody knows what's wrong with your dentures fit than yourself. Denture wearers know all it takes is a tiny imperfection where the dentures meet the gum, to make them hard to impossible to wear. And it's easy to fix those imperfections yourself using this kit. Now, for less than $50, and about an hour's work, I am now able to wear my dentures all day long in comfort. Best personal care purchase I've made in a long time. Hope this recommendation helps others to do the same. PS, I would have given the product 5 stars, if not for the initial chemical taste after applying the product. The good news is that if you soak the finished dentures in a mix of baking soda and water, most of that taste is gone very soon.

Not for me
I'm sure this product works well for some people but not for me..I of course got too much of it on my partial and kept trying to scrape some of it off as instructed. It hardens quickly so you must work quickly..I ended up taking off too much of it and the end result was my partial was loose again..The other thing was the taste/smell of the product was just too much for me..I ended up taking it all out and going back to the cheap ($5.00) reline kit from Walmart.. Works the same way and doesn't taste as bad..

Thank you Perma Soft
I used to use cushion grip But that stuff went nuts went from like 14.00 a tube and it lasted about 6 months a tube to around 100.00 a tube I was in a panic because no way could I afford to pay That for it. So I was looking for alternatives I tried reline kits from a few stores here in town but they were messy and complicated to use. I was just about to break down and but a tube of cushion grip when I came across Perma Soft Reliner kits 2 for 24.99 it works Great Its easy to use There is a bad taste at first that lasts for about a day but after that no bad taste and it works just as good as cushion grip and each application lasts longer so far the first application has lasted over 2 weeks and still fit secure and do not pinch or hurt I highly recommend this product.... Thank you Perma Soft

Easy to use
So I rarely write reviews but I need to on this one. Positive: came early which I was very happy with. Easy to work with, easy to apply and dried fast. So everything good on the the product usage!!! Negative: the taste is aweful!! You canโt get it out of your mouth. Taste like paint thinner or worse. I would suggest not wearing them right after you apply product and steps are complete. I was afraid to keep them in water so I rinsed them set out to dry and brushed them before reusing. Day two is not as bad but the tase is still there. Maybe do a 3min efferdent soak would help but not sure if it will keep holding if left in water to long. But like I said it does work and seems solid. Just prepare yourself for the aweful lingering taste.

Works very well with these caveats
A few things to know before you start-for a full upper denture, you only need half the mixture. A small prescription pill bottle works great to mix it in, and don't forget there is a little stirring stick in the bottom of the box. Once the mixture has reached the consistency of honey, PUT ON RUBBER GLOVES-do not attempt to do this with bare hands, the glop goes everywhere and takes forever to get off your fingers. Pour the mixture into the denture, wait a few seconds for it to spread out, then put denture in mouth and bite down hard, keep biting for a minute-yes it tastes dreadful. Then carefully and slowly remove denture from mouth--don't pull on it. Set denture aside and rinse mouth well with cold water. Let denture set for a couple minutes til the lining has "set up", then you can reinsert denture into mouth and bite down again, this should spread the cooling mixture out a bit more for a better fit. Last reminder, do NOT try to wipe or peel off the mixture until it has completely set up, you cannot "wipe" it off, you have to wait and peel it off later. If you try to wipe it off before it sets up it will just smear everywhere and you'll be peeling little bits off your fingers and teeth for days. I am very pleased with the results and my denture fits well and doesn't cut into my upper gum any more. I can recommend the produce with the above caveats.

Just as good as a professional job at a much cheaper price!
I've used Perma Soft for several years to reline both my upper plate and my lower partial. It takes about an hour of your time but it's really easy to use. Only thing is that there's a residual taste once you've used it but if you soak the relined product in a mixture of baking soda and water overnight it subsides quickly. Most important thing is that you NEVER use hot water to rinse your denture until you're ready to use another alignment kit or it will separate from the denture. Obviously a professional reline doesn't have the taste but it's a lot more expensive and sometimes you have to leave it to get it done; plus it's a lot cheaper than a professional reline. Having said that.....it's just as good as a professional job.
