My niece loves it! It was a great idea to make the mermaid and horse magnetic so they stay together, because she loses things easily. She specifically asked for a mermaid unicorn, but I only found the mermaid on the horse but she was thrilled nonetheless. She calls it her "magical horsey." As much as she has played with it and thrown it around, it has stayed together. So it is very durable. She is now wanting ALLL the horses, unicorns, and seahorses.

Good quality. Slightly heavy so be aware it can definitely cause damage if swung or dropped. My daughter dropped on her toe and it bled. She still loves it so overall a worthy purchase? The mermaid stays where she's put and the girls have found other magnetic things to use.

These are all hand painted, which I do appreciate, but you never know for sure what their eyes are going to look like when you order them. My daughter loves her horse riding mermaid and that’s enough for me. She either hasn’t noticed that the mermaid is cross eyed, or she doesn’t care. And when a theee year old is happy, everyone is happy.

I got this as a Birthday present for my 8 year old niece and it was her favorite present! We like that the mermaid has a built in magnet so it can sit and stay on the horse. She has always loved mermaids and is now getting into horses so this was the perfect gift for her!! Love Schleich products!

Everything about this figure is typical of Schleich quality. Beautiful, however, my grand-daughters do not like the mermaid's face. The eyes are rather dark & intense looking. They think she looks mad.

I have yet to be disappointed in the Schleich products. Extremely detailed, beautiful colors, and the sets are always designed so the individual pieces stay together without being bound. Thank goodness you make mermaids as well as fairies, as my granddaughters love both, but individually one prefers fairies and of course the other prefers mermaids! My mermaid girl will love this I guarantee!

Very nice addition to the Schleich range! Very detailed design and the Mermaid riding the horse is attached magnetically so stays seated...recommended for any young horse/Schleich fanatic
