Q: Can a hose be attached to the drainage so I can drain of the water neatly to a drain?

the drain is 1-1/4" inner diameter, male outer threads. I guess if you have a female hose coupling that size you could.

Q: Would this fit in a stand up shower that is the length & width of a standard bathtub? And is it safe to bathe my toddler in if it will fit.

I never tried that, but it has potential for using as a toddler bath. I guess it depends on the dimension of your tub.

Q: Will it work for long term

It's a well made product, I'm using mine for camping to wash up in ,I llove it .
