Automatic Electric Fish Scaling Machine

Very light, feels comfy in your hand, easy to work. Looks a bit fragile, but I didn't have a chance to give it a "good workout"

Works great but won't last . Shaft broke after 1 week use. Need to build stronger and refer steel instead plastic

This is fantastic, I even enjoy catching and scaling fish now a job I detest before.

The product was light, easy to use, and did a decent job scaling fish. Unfortunately, I only got about 5 uses out of it before it stopped working. I' m really not surprised it failed, as it is cheaply constructed with a thin, poorly constructed power cord. I just didn't think it would fail so quickly.This product would probably OK for those who occasionally catch something. I would not recommend this scaler tto the serious fisherman.

The Ultimate Fish Scaler is not perfect, but it really beats the conventional way of scalling a fish, especially if you have several to scale. I give it a thumbs up!

I purchased this fish scale remover, as I like buying fresh fish locally and always used old fashioned methods to scale fish, when I saw this I was bit skeptical about the product but went ahead and purchased it thinking it would be a cleaner and quicker method. When it arrived I purchased a couple of small snappers about 1.5 pounds each, figuring they would be ideal to test it on.First of all the switch to turn it on/off is in the wrong place and is a nuisance not so much to turn on but is inconvenient to turn off. The plastic guard that supposedly stops the spraying of scales everywhere broke in the first 30 seconds of use (one of the flimsy plastic clips broke from the force of the scales hitting it.) and besides it didn't stop to many of the scales for the short time it held, scales were still spraying everywhere.The unit itself works and does remove scales from the fish, but you have to run over the same area a few times to ensure all the scales are removed. These were small fish and it was very messy so hate to think what would happen with larger fish, it is in no way recommended to use this inside your house. Where as I can scale fish the old fashioned method in my sink just slightly slower and the scales don't go all over the place if I do it under water in the sink.All in all very disappointed at the quality of the item it is a cheaply made plastic toy which breaks easily.I know i get what I pay for and whilst the price isn't high, either is the quality of this item. Its a pity as with a bit of thought and invariably extra cost this item could be made to work as it is expected.Karl

He finally caught a fish and let me tell you it was the best thing i bought for him. it took 5 minutes for him to scale a fish instead of 25 min
