5 stars all the way!
Razer BlackShark V2 X Wired Gaming Headset with USB connection for my desktop PC.. I had ordered this with the 3.5mm jack with splitter. I couldn't get the mic to work , there was no on screen volume indicator, the volume wouldn't turn up loud enough and there was a hissing sound.. I called Razer customer support and they determined the unit was defective.. I returned it to amazon, however I couldn't get beyond the troubleshooting page so I had to mark it wrong product received.. Amazon credited my account and I ordered the same headset with USB connection ( about $8 more but worth it ). All I can say is WOW!! I just plugged it in and the on screen volume came up! The Audio quality is better than my HyperX 300 hour wireless headset I've used the past couple years and the microphone is also much better than the expensive HyperX. The ear cushions are on par with the expensive aftermarket wicked cushions I had on the HyperX . Those Wicked ear cushions cost almost as the entire Razer headset! I made a sale on my very first business call and I couldn't be happier. For the price I'm rating at 5+ stars with the USB connector.

It's comfortable and great audio and mic quality.
I've been using these for a bit now, can't say a single bad thing about these. They feel very comfortable and have really good audio quality. I've been told the microphone is fantastic while gaming online with friends. Bottom line, this is the one to get for a reasonable price.

Great USB headset
These are awesome headphones. Light weight, so comfy, and crystal clear. I switched to USB wired headset from Razer Kraken wireless. I was tired of fighting with battery life and ended up playing plugged in much of the time anyway. I use Nerdytec lapboard and connect my headset to that, so I have plenty of reach. USB is fantastic. There are not many pure USB headset options out there. The Razer Black Shark are a win in that department. This headset is clear, clean, super easy to use, and the mic is clear and clean as well (what others hear). There is no winner why these are getting such rave reviews.

Comfortable but didn't last.
I have went through several pair and have the worst luck with headsets. I purchased for team meetings at work. They were fairly comfortable and great at blocking out noise. They worked great for a few months. Unfortunately, the Mic has quit working.

Cord is awful / Green cord model
I bought it on sale after my Corsairs broke after around 2 years of daily work use for $45, overall the mic quality, general construction and sound was pretty decent considering that price so I would give it a 8/10, there wasn't any peeling or degradation like most headsets after a few months but the reason this headset gets such a low score from me is the cord, specifically the cord sleeve..First off I want to mention this seems to be only an issue with the model I got, the one that comes with the green polymer cords sleeve. I've owned several wired headsets in the past from Razer and other brands and none of them have been like this they are normally braided metal or rubber this cord sleeve was textured rubber I haven't seen on any other Razer model.Out of the box the cord wanted to tangle and collapse in on itself no matter how many times I would try to untangle it it kept wrapping back up on itself even before wearing it.Then once I started wearing it the tangling got even worse, daily I would untangle it but the cord sleeve was twisting not the "cable" itself meaning no matter how I straightened /untangled the cord out the sleeve would make it twist back up on itself almost immediately.4 months later It has stopped working it its entirety, if this model was wireless at this price point I would genuinely give it 5 stars. But the daily fighting with the cord, having to stretch it back out and eventually it just stopping working completely due to that makes this a 1 star product.

Solid piece of gear at affordable price
Using as a work headset with Microsoft teams. Awesome piece of gear. Over the ear noise cancelling is top spot. Sound quality is fantastic. And it came with a sticker. For the price point this is hard to beat. Simple to use, plug in and go. Noting I hate "in the ear", "non-noise cancelling", and "wireless" headsets for work.

Quite mic
Pretty light but feel a little cheep. My old headphones were metal so I might just be biased.Sound is good for the price, and the mic is very clear, however my friends are telling me that I’m now very quiet. All my input volumes that I know about our maxed and some can hardly hear me.My first thought to remedy this was to just pick up an external mic, however the mic on these headphones isn’t removable.Nothing about them are a deal breaker but just things to keep in mind.
