Great item if you need the covered space.
Cover is well built and very easy to install in a 2016 Tacoma. Fits perfectly and looks very finished in use.Of course, it is not 100% waterproof, but should do the job very well unless you have something extremely sensitive to water on the floor of the truck bed, i.e. cardboard boxes that might soak up any of the small puddles that eventually get into the truck bed. A bed mat and/or plastic containers should mitigate most of the risk.I am disappointed in the security of the latch design. Of course, no bed cover can resist a determined thief with a prybar or other tools. But a crook with a little initiative could easily design a way to reach in and unlatch the wire pull openers with very little effort. There are workarounds on the internet to make the cover and latches more secure, but due to the lightweight materials, and compact design for folding, those options are somewhat limited. Other fixes are more secure, but interfere with the convenience of using the cover.None of these concerns are a dealbreaker. I am very happy with the cover and I'm sure I'll get many years of use from it.

Excellent tonneau cover
Not difficult to install. Very nice quality cover. Provides excellent security, looks good and is very easy to use. I’ve had mine in for a year & I like it more now than I did initially….and I liked it a lot then.

Very happy with this product
I've had this on my truck for about 4 months now and I'm very happy with it. I bought it because I was moving cross-country and wanted to keep the truck bed secure while I was in hotels with the truck loaded up. It performed as expected and it looks good too.It works great. After four months the folds still move smoothly, fit well and secure solidly. I haven't had any real leaks but did notice a little moisture after the truck was snow-covered for a few days. It has come in very handy to be able to secure it open.A few minor design considerations: 1: The installation screws aren't the highest quality. I broke the head of one off while installing the cover. After that I was more careful and didn't have that problem again. 2: There are supports on the inside of the cover that do reduce the effective volume under the cover by a small amount. 3: The locking mechanism that secures the cover to the rails are made of plastic and probably could be defeated pretty easily with a small crowbar. It would be nice to see these as metal but it works great.Overall I'm giving it a 5/5 because I've been very impressed with the overall design, quality, useability and durability.

Great cover but for the expense it needs better finishing
The cover for the most part is well built and easy to install. It is easy to access the box and the security it provides is good. The cover seals does leak a bit but this is along the rough plastic edges of the box. The areas that need improvement are the prop rod and the finish of the rails. The prop rod plastic catch for storage barely support the weight and they constantly falling off. A metal clip or locking clip would be a huge improvement. The other issue is the unfinished cut ends of the extruded aluminum rails. Is it really too much to touch up the ends with a little paint!!! The other area that could use some improvement is the locking wire. It is very easy to slip a coat hanger under the cover and pull the release wire. Even a simple shield blocking the wire on the back side would improve security. Ultimately I am happy with the cover and it does the job I want. I would and will recommend it.

Time consuming but worth it.
Took a few hours. You definitely need some of your own tools. Once I got everything on it wouldn't click into place that I had to flip the cover back up and tighten up the rails. Definitely make sure those are tight and fully secure before proceeding to the next step. All in all I love the way it looks. Snaps easily into place and easy to fold up as well. Not sure if it's water resistant yet. Just put it on today. There's some Cracks by where the tailgate meets it. So I'm sure it's 99% waterproof. Definitely fits really well. And super sturdy. I sat on it and it doesn't even budge. The quote to get this installed at the Toyota dealership was almost $4,000. So definitely worth it for only $1,300 to do it myself. I would definitely do it again. But please make sure you have food in your stomach and lots of patience before you start this project.

Nice product, but car specific details can suck.
I've been fighting this for a day and it still won't install properly. 1) The rails that mount to the truck sides are horrible - and the clamps are worse. You just can't get them to align properly, terrible engineering. 2) The "slam clamps" that sort of lock it closed don't have sufficient alignment room, so they won't latch at all unless you completely disassemble the base bracket and shim it up (a few layers of cut out aluminum can seem to work.) 3) The on-line instructions promised that I wouldn't have to drill into my car other than a plastic drain cap, but the instructions say to drill into the wheel well from the bed for the drain hoses....which I am not going to do. Overall I think they have a decent product, but have taken real engineering shabby shortcuts in the various fittings to make it fit your car. It might work fine for you. (I'm fitting to a 2019 Toyota Tacoma short-bed.)Edited 2 days later. Extensive web searching shows this is common. Inspection shows that the metal parts are engineered well, but the quality control is terrible. The culprit in this case is the waterproofing / weatherstripping applied to the adaptor rails....it was twisted, stuck to both top and side, and was clearly obstructing with proper assembly. Like others, I simply stripped this stuff off, then assembly went smooth and everything fits up and latches nicely. I will just have to run a bead of RTV along the gap to give some sort of waterproofing. Shame on these guys.

Customer service at it's finest.
Bought this tonneau cover back in 2019 and recently found the rubber seals between each panel shrunk exposing the seam and leaving it open for water penetration. Emailed the company and received a quick response (about half an hour) they stated it was out of the warranty time line, but they would honor the warranty anyway and will resend the entire cover minus the rails. Beyond excellent customer service. Highly recommend this company.

Great Product
Cover was fantastic and easy to install on my 2019 Tacoma, however the one error we made was when drilling holes to install the drain tube we drilled too deep and hit a fuel filler line. Take extra pro-cation or avoid this step if you feel incline, as no warning is clearly labeled on the instructions. But great product!
