Great
Got this as a gift for my grandson. He opened it Christmas Eve and according to my daughter it was the number one gift of the year. Even Santa gifts took second place. Also this was shipped and got to me in one day.

Hours of fun!
My 4.5 year old is pretty rough on toys. These have held up! He will pull them apart some times but I can figure out how to put them back together. He’s all about transformers right now, so these have been educational while fun at the same time!

Fun for learning
My son is in to transformers and he loves math. This seems to be a perfect match. Size is perfect for his small hands. They are easy to use and easy to assemble.

Awesome Concept, Mediocre Execution
I really wanted this one to be a 5 star product. I ordered it for my transformer-loving 5 year old. When I opened the box, I was so excited that he was going to absolutely love this. The pieces are colorful, vibrant, and inviting. It probably took me a good half hour total to transform all the pieces. Some are easier to follow the directions for than others. I will admit that transforming toys aren't my strong suit, so it can probably be done much more quickly. It will be a little difficult to teach my 5 year old to get through all the tedious steps, but after a few times I'm sure he will be able to do it alone.Once I got about 3 or 4 pieces in, I had problems with one of the toys having a part break off when trying to transform. I was able to pop it back on two times, but I doubt it will hold up well over time. I also realized some of these were a little flimsier than others, so I decided to deduct a star. Overall, the transformed pieces looked really exciting for a child to play with. But once I tried to make the giant robot with multiple pieces, I was even less impressed. Some pieces are difficult to connect together. And after they are connected, most fall apart way too easily. I gave up on the robot a little over halfway through. I would rather my 5 year old not even know that is an option so he won't be disappointed.Overall, this product had such great potential. However, it fell short too many areas. My son will still enjoy it and get lots of play out of it. So I give it a solid 3 stars.

Fun mech toy set
This is a fun little set, finally bringing together mathematics and Mecha. The individual pieces (other than the equal sign) are all individual mechs that combine into a giant mech.Do note the equal sign has very small pieces in it, so very much not advisable for small children. The plastic is adequate quality, but these definitely feel like dollar store toys, so maybe not the greatest value as a set. Still cool, tho.

EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!
The media could not be loaded. UNBOXING:-Please see first part of video attachedASSEMBLING FROM NUMBERS INTO CHARACTERS:-2nd half of video shows them all assembled-At first my son and I started following the directions but then quickly turned to just exploring and trying on our own. It really does help to know what the final piece will look like. My son is not very patient and very rough on his toys and sure enough within minutes I hear a snap. Much to my surprise, most of the pieces are made to be put back on! The wheels actually turn on the items that have wheels as well!MAKING THE BIG ROBOT:-The directions do help to get each number shaped; however, to piece altogether will take some extra thinking-cap power but not anything that isn't obvious when you try to place it like the diagram shows. Like others have said, an adult is going to need to assist the younger ones but it still kept my son very much engaged and I actually enjoyed much needed time with him as well. The robot is moveable once built and the feet has wheels.CONS:-The only con I experienced was with #4 which becomes the airplane. One of the wings wouldn't stay in place 100% of the time. This wasn't a deal breaker for me nor my very picky son as it was minor so I didn't try to reach out for replacement.OVERALL:-My son has been eyeing an item like this at a big box educational store; however, it was geared towards much younger kiddos and I wasn't sold on the costs. This one on Amazon seemed reasonably priced and offered more and I am so glad I gave it a try. This would make a great gift for a child and truly does aid in fine motor manipulation, problem solving and direction following. Once you have gone through all the steps, it becomes easier and easier and imagination ensues! My son (7) has been playing with it in different ways (sometimes just wants the number robots and large one, sometimes just the vehicles, etc.).TIP:-Take a pic of the directions for safe keeping as the visual does go a long way ;) or just come back to this review as I have photos of them attached!

Awesome fun!
You definitely need some patience to put these together! They’re just as fun for adults as for children. My five year old enjoyed it greatly but still wanted some parental help. It gets easier the more times you do the transformations and put them back into numbers again.Couple times my son got very upset because he thought he broke some pieces off but they’re built so that you can just pop them right back on.Each number/sign is very detailed. It’s impressive. This is definitely one of the cooler toys we’ve played with. We have yet to build the robot out of all the pieces. We’re so much looking forward to it!
