Works
Finally a way to keep the deer and rabbits from feasting on my flowers. Have had several neighbors knock on my door to ask where they can get them.

Good quality
These are expensive, but worth it. They are sturdy, of good size, and keep my plants safe. I will buy more as needed.

Expensive but nice and sturdy.
The deer were eating young plants they’re usually not interested in- these will protect them while looking nice in my front lawn, almost ornamental. They are good sized and very sturdy. Expensive, but I think they’ll last a long time.

All arrived bent, some broken
All the cloches are usable, but all were bent out of round (one I can't quite get back into shape), and two have a broken frame wire (not the chicken wire, but one of the frame hoops). I'm keeping them because I need to protect my plants from the deer and I can't wait for replacement ones to arrive.

Practical and attractive!
I would have given 5 stars but 2 came bent. Otherwise, they are great.

Fingers crossed!
I have been fighting the critters for the past 3 years: rabbits, groundhogs, deer, birds, squirrels, possums, it feels like the list is never ending. I wish we could coexist, but when you have a small garden it can get wiped out in a day. I ordered these with the hope that they can help me keep some of my veggies for myself! They are quite a good size, though not big enough for most full grown plants other than lettuce. They will be good for protecting plants when they are young; I tend to have an issue with rabbits and birds considering certain sprouts a tasty treat, but when the plants are big they leave them alone.Unfortunately, I doubt these will be any help in keeping the groundhogs away from my plants; they’re just too smart and persistent. But they will be effective against everything else I think.I will update in a few months when my growing season gets into swing.

An essential solution for cold winter gardeners everywhere
Within minutes of receiving these sturdy chicken wire cloches today I was busy solving a serious problem: I haven’t quite finished building my ninth 8’ long greenhouse plastic enclosed winter raised bed frame, and one of our cats has been sleeping and pooping in the still-exposed half barrels of soil for a couple of weeks now. I only need a couple of hours to finish that latest structure yet haven’t found the time just yet. Normally I would have seeded the four barrels already, but couldn’t do it because of the crazy cat. Now I’m running behind on planting again. But these cloches have already solved the cat issue: he just hates the cloches since he doesn’t have enough room to comfortably sleep or poop inside my grow barrels anymore.I quickly found that these cloches also securely fit right over the standard 5 gallon buckets that I use during winter to grow spinach, Swiss chard, collard greens, cutting celery, kale, hardy lettuces, and the like (I have 22 buckets of various greens right now, more to plant until mid-November. Had I known that these cloches existed, perhaps I could have saved a lot of construction time and costs on building so many ice-storm proof frames. The cloches are tall enough to grow greens and certainly strong enough to support greenhouse plastic sheeting right over the top — no doubt even with thick blankets of snow and/or ice.On the other hand, long term forecasts indicate that we may be in for a heck of a bad winter… so these cloches will provide the option of adding an additional layer of greenhouse plastic inside the enclosed storm frames. Too many days hovering well below freezing or even around zero really does require two layers of thick 8ml sheeting to thoroughly protect the plants, and these cloches will make that happen with minimal hassle.I’ll be using them next spring too with insect cloth and perhaps shade cloth covering, that’ll keep the grasshoppers and beetles away from my summer salads. I really am very excited over these marvelous cloches: 5 stars, I’d give them 10 stars if I could!
