Loved this lighter when I first got it. I needed something I could travel with for my cigars and this did the trick (though I will say that I got sick of explaining to TSA that it was not a torch lighter and none of them could ever figure out how to spin the wheel correctly to ignite the flame, which got real annoying.)Anyways, lighter was all around fine. I carried it in my pocket or briefcase. But then I noticed it was constantly out and as the problem persisted over a week I noticed the fuel cartridge was cracked. I honestly don't know how much more I could have babied this thing. Contacted Colibri about fixing or replacing and was kindly told to F off, so that's that. I'll never buy a Colibri product again and I've got $125 sitting in a trach can next to me.

I bought this guy to be my "daily driver" soft light. My other lighter is typical line 2 ST Dupont. Functionally, this lighter performs identically, and uses typical butane for refill purposes. If you care about such things, there is no "STDupont" signature ping when you open the top. My only complaint is that the body is not a straight rectangle box. Rather, the body bows outward creating a convex surface on the front and back faces. This is likely due to the size of the internal components in the medial portion of the lighter, but this is not a big deal.Overall, this is a great lighter.

Received it used and flint missing so it wouldn’t light.

This lighter is sturdy and well built. The lighting mechanism is easy to use and ignites without issue. You will need to adjust the flame height to suit taste and once your "perfect" flame is found it is flawless. True, this is not wind-proof and that is OK. The Julius is an elegant lighter for a relaxing smoke.

The first time the lighter was ordered, it came in and leaked. Submitted for a replacement, and wheb that came in, noticed the same marks as the original lighter. Paid no mind to it thinking the leak was fixed. Put butane in it and the leak can be heard at over 6 feet away. The original defect was not fixed and ended up disappointed twice.

I purchased in Dec as a Christmas gift. Its barely been used and has stopped working. How do I get a new one or at least this one repaired?

The lighter works well. I love the design and the feel, but they show wear very early. The paint is not durable at all.

Après un peu plus d’un an, la ligne à gaz a brisé. Fuite d’essence donc inutilisable.
