Very highly flammable. **Q: After filling a large chip I need to sand down the edges. What is the best way to do this (what grits)?** A: DO NOT USE 100-400.. trust me, super easy to burn through the finish. I would start at 600, light handed. Then move up to 800, 1500, 2000 and then 3000. If you use 100-400 and never burn through it.. guaranteed you’ll have to sand it to the finish until you could get those scratches out. **Q: My guitar has a mirror gloss black body. I need to fill a hole left from a pickguard change. When I fix the hole, will this pen alone hide my work?** A: I used this pen to fill a couple of chips in the edge of my Gibson Thunderbird. The color matches perfectly. It is a special guitar lacquer, it shrinks a little as it dries. I made several coats to hide to hide the chips. A deep hole should be filled with wood filler first. This pen is best suited for small repairs. **Q: Can this be used to darken distressed edges on wood furniture?** A: This is a marker that contains Black nitrocellulose paint. I is opaque and primarily used to repair chips in black finishes on guitars. As for darkening I'm not sure its the affect you want. It will produce a gloss black finish where you apply it.
