This battery was delivered very quickly- in just a little over 24 hours (because our mail is delivered late in the day). The battery appears to be almost identical to the original battery for my Vaio laptop, and installed in about 30 seconds. I have had it installed for 2 days, and 2 charge/discharge cycles, and it seems to work fine. I hope it will take at least a couple of years for me to comment on battery life.

New GHU battery fit exactly like the OEM from 2010 did, including the lock slider to keep it in place. Charged overnight, and the new battery seems to have good capacity.

The battery works perfectly! An absolute must-buy. It was about 40% when I installed it and I let it deplete the charge down to about 5% before turning off the computer and then plugging it into the charging cable. I can easily get 2+ hours of multi-tasking work done with a charge: music, video, excel spreadhsheet, power point presentation, word document and google search, among others. I priced this battery at about $95 before deploying. This one cost me half that. For DPO/APO customers deployed, do NOT try to ship it; Amazon (and rightly so!) will not send to APO/DPO addresses. It's not their policy, it is the air carrier and the USPS policies. My Battle Buddy offered to have his wife bring it out to me when she and their son came to visit my Buddy. I ordered it, sent it to their home in CO, and she carried it in her carry on bag from Houston, to Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Totally legal and totally efficient! Good thing I am OCD. I bought three different Sony Vaio batteries for the same laptop. 1. Dongguan Lewe Electronics: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077NHLQQP 2. FutureBatt: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JVH1SQ7 3. GHU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0716N5874 All three were shipped in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) bags, which is great for transistors and integrated circuits but bad for batteries. ESD bags are slightly conductive, so any static electricity is leaked to the outside of the bag, protecting the transistors and integrated circuits from too much static electricity. ESD bags also cause the batteries to slowly short out, thereby draining them of any electricity that they have left. After 24 hours the (1) Dongguan and (2) FutureBatt batteries failed to charge at all. The (3) GHU battery charged to 3% after 24 hours.

Perfect replacement battery , for my Sony laptop . It's nice to be able to run on battery for 2+ hours with this old dinosaur laptop

Replacing OEM Sony notebook PC's 12 years old battery, fit is good and matched original. It's not clear how well the battery will stand up to holding a full charge after powered off for a week or longer and overall durability in being reliable. Fully charged, standby time is about 3 hours under light load running Linux (no longer on Windows 10) Mint/Lite LTS - after powered off & stored for a week, battery only retained a partial charge, not fully discharged. Will cycle this a few times to see how this last and update this review, although it just past the free return period but if seller will honor its warranty ... hopefully not have to file a claim.

Didn't last long at all - I Charged it once worked for an hour then died.
