TEXALAN(R) 3A Molecular Sieve Zeolite Desiccant Bead 8X12 Mesh 5LBS 1.6-2.5mm for Gas Drying and Purification

Received sieves in a vacuum sealed bag. I immediately added them to an air tight container. I weighed them and received slightly over 10lbs of sieves. I got out a small beaker and added some distilled water and some sieves, the water went from 17 Celcius to 40 Celsius (Van der Waals forces), so they were mostly dry when I got them. Didn’t notice any dust when i poured them into the airtight container so they were pretty clean, too. (I have pretty good lighting, too) The ones I put in water dried out really good under vacuum with heat after about 4 hours, I repeated the same water test with the better results, beaker got slightly hotter. Was packaged good. These are very good sieves for the price.

Very small Just bigger then sand

Very poor quality . Iron impurities that make them red clay colored and screw up sensitive chemistry. Id steer clear of these . Chinese junk

Works fine but arrived with moisture. Spent an entire day drying them out.

I use it to refill my scba air driers as i am inflating my cylinders. I would recommend this product
