The media could not be loaded.  As usual, the package arrived very quickly from Amazon.The adapters arrived in a strong zip lock type bag, which I will keep for storing them in and a few other adapters I have.I ordered this pack of 4 VAKS USB-C Female to USB-C Female Adapters as I wanted to extend the lead to one of my IP video cameras.I checked that all 8 sockets where nice and tight fit when I plugged in USB-C cables in both ends, as you can see from my video. I also liked the quality as they are made of metal and not plastic, they feel really solid.Next I checked they that they would actually work by connecting two USB-C cables together and connecting it to the camera, and they all worked fine.I think this is a great alternative to buying a USB-C female to USB-C male cable, when I already have a few spare USB-C to USB-C cables lying around, I think it works out cheaper as you get 3 spare adapters.At the time of writing this review the price is £7.95, but at the moment there is a 10 % discount voucher bringing the price down to £7.15The squares on the table I use when photographing and videoing items are 1cm squares, you can use them to help you judge the size of items I photograph.I hope you have found this review and video helpful.

Using the same 40W USB charger, and the SAME 2 cables - then I found that depending on the orientation of the adapter, would depend if my phone was Fast charged.In other words - I plugged the cables into the adapter and got 13W charging, unplugged one cable, turned it over and plugged it back into the adapter, but now it was only 'Charging' at 2.5W.Data worked fine no matter which way I plugged the cables together - just the charging had to make sure the USB-C cables were plugged in the right way round (which defeats one of the benefits of USB-C).I double checked the two USB-C cables I was using, by just using them one at a time directly plugged into the power supply and then directly plugged into my phone - both cables provided fast charging to my phone regardless of which way round I inserted them into my phone.So overall, at £7.95 (at the time of review - August 2022), I would say they are useful, but really annoying you have to get the USB-C cables plugged in the 'right' way round in order to get FAST caharging.

I went for the ‘Female to Female’ adapters. When using Thunderbolt or USB 3.2 devices, a lot of adapters won’t work. In fact, some will only pass on USB 2 speeds as they are made for fast charging only. When talking about speeds as high as 10Gbps and 40Gbps, you need the right adapter.This set of four adapters arrive in a plastic bag. They are made from metal which make them more durable and electrically screened.Why did I go for the female-to-female ones? High speed USB-C extension cables are very expensive. However, similar rated USB-C male to male lead is a fair bit cheaper. So, adding one of these adapters will create a cheaper extension lead. You should note though, long extensions can cause problems with these high-speed connections.Overall, they work well enough. I hope that helps.

Ich habe einige Geräte wie HUBS oder eine Festplatte, die mittlerweile alle nur mehr einen USB C Anschluss haben. Da ich die Geräte aber auch mit einem alten Laptop (er hat nur USB A Buchsen) verwenden wollte habe ich nach einer Lösung gesucht, die mehr als USB 2.0 drauf hat.Mit diesen Adaptern habe ich die Lösung gefunden: sie schaffen bis 10 Gb/S und haben USB 3.2; daran kann ich ein USB C Kabel verkehrt anhängen, sodass die Konstruktion in USB A endet und ich meinen dortigen USB 3 Anschluss auch wirklich nutzen kann und nicht alt werde, wenn ich Daten verschiebe oder zugreifen will.Zusätzlich wirken die Adapter gut verarbeitet und sehr robust (sind verhältnismäßig schwer), obwohl sie super klein designt sind. Cool.---Ich teste Produkte bei Amazon unbeeinflusst und gebe dabei meine persönliche, ehrlichen Meinung, meine guten und schlechten Erfahrungen und ev. auch nach einiger Zeit der Nutzung Abweichungen von meiner ersten Rezension ab. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich auch jetzt eine Hilfe geben konnte, um einen besseren Eindruck vom obigen Produkt zu bekommen.
