I'm in the UK, purchased the ioniser LESS than 2 weeks ago and find the Alkaline water DOES NOT flow through the system consistently. The first couple of days it worked fine but since then the machine has been unreliable and we're not getting alkaline water. Will have to send it back to the USA if it's not resolved. Very disappointed because it had really good reviews on Amazon. Thumbs down 👎

I've owned an Air-water-life ionizing water machine since July of 2018 and I've had great experience with the Aqua Beauty 5.0 water system, which I believe is their cheapest and most economical model. I wanted something affordable while at the same time being effective -- an I wanted it for the purposes of producing great tasting alkaline water which my mother-in-law turned me on to after her $3000 purchase of a Korean brand alkaline water machine. I was skeptical of alkaline water at first, and I condemned the purchase given the great expense! After having her water when visiting her home in Sacramento and experiencing the hydration, smoother "flatter" taste, and overall sense of well-being associated with being able to drink more water, I was hooked. The Aqua Beauty 5.0 machine seemed to be a nice compromise between cost and purpose. So I went for it and didn't look back from there. The machine seemed to output great tasting water for several years, the pH tested very well in the beginning when I bought the unit, and then, maybe 6 months back, the taste had gone worse despite me replacing the filter, and upon checking the pH, I observed that it was not changing after traversing the machine! The pH at the outlet of the machine and at the outlet of the ionizer (where acid water is expected to drain) was exactly the same and was in agreement with the source water (~6.5-7 using the more highly sensitive pH indicator droplets). I did confirm the readings with two different pH test solutions, where one was less accurate (didn't exhibit as much color change as the other) but the relative difference again was none, which told me that something wasn't right with the machines operation! I immediately reached out to Mason Hendrix at Air-water-life, and he was extremely supportive of my inquiry. He offered to have me send back the unit to him free of charge (just pay the shipping) and he would ensure that I was provided promptly with a working unit. And that's exactly what he did! I sent the unit in via FedEx and got another unit (still the same model, or a very slightly different model from the one I originally had bought) within days. Upon receiving it, I was surprised to receive an extra descaling kit, new pH testing kit, replacement filter, new water tubing , new faucet fixture, and a new instruction manual! I used the pH test kit to confirm that the unit was working effectively - it is now producing alkaline water at high levels (7-10) depending on the setting, and it is generating acid water at the outlet (4-5) which confirms for me that it works! (I also verified using my other pH testing solution). I'm very happy again with the taste of my water now, and I'm still the proud owner of an affordable and excellent machine that I hope will continue to output great tasting alkaline water for years to come! Even if that's not the case though, I'm happy to know that Air-water-life is just an email or a phone call away to assist me with getting my machine up and working again. **Small Update on 07/13/20** I added a few images of my Alkaline machine setup so people can get an idea of how I installed this. I opted for the simplest solution, no mounting of the unit underneath the sink or onto the wall -- instead I used the simple faucet flow diverting faucet fixture that came with it and hooked up the flow inlet and outlet tubing (where outlet is indicated by a small red dot sticker). Also, for my latest install, I put in an in-Line Aqua Crest Refrigerator Filter -- available on Amazon Model AQ5KDC -- the nice thing is that the tubing hooks up straight-away to it without any fittings whatsoever at the inlet and outlet of the filter. I found from PPM testing that the Alkaline machine equipped with it's own in-line carbon filter did not reduce the PPM from the source water -- and I was told by Air-water-life that I should not expect that by the design of the unit. Before installing the Aqua Crest on the inlet to the machine I got ~215 PPM source water and the same coming out of the Ionizer. After installing the Aqua Crest I am getting ~ 20-50 PPM out of the Ionizer now! (still in the 200's from the source water). Mind you this is a carbon filter similar in construction to the one installed in the Ionizer but much larger and more efficient (should last approx. 1 year under normal use). With this filter you also have the option of installing it underneath the sink if you buy it with the hoses included (assuming you have standard fittings/connections. With this setup I am getting Excellent tasting water and very effective Alkalizing which I continue to test periodically using the pH drops.

Does the job! I’ve been getting my Kangen water from my brother for the past 5 years. I can’t afford a $5K water machine. So did some research and my husband came up with this one. I am so impressed! Does everything the 5 thousand dollar one does. Great machine, all the same water levels. I’m love having this machine. Very easy to connect and easy to use.

My wife and I ordered one of these in January 2017. We've been using it religiously ever since. We've also told other friends about our alkaline water and have allowed others to try it. So far everyone has loved it. One of my best friends has really bad knees and has constant achiness in his joints and he's 44. I gave him a couple of gallons of our alkaline water and it keeps coming back because he says he feels like he's 20 again. I'm also 44 and have experienced similar results. I'm very active and recently started working out hardcore again (after taking off about 5 years). What I've noticed is I do not get any muscle soreness as long as I drink a 16oz glass of alkaline water in the morning, during my workout, and before I go to bed. I also have two reconstructed knees (due to ACL surgeries in both my right and left knees), but do NOT experience any swelling or joint pain after running during or after my workout (as I'm drinking my alkaline water). I also have a gluten allergy where anytime I eat gluten my body aches and this pain will last around 24 hours. My pain levels can sometimes reach a level 8 or 9 out of 10. However, since drinking alkaline water these pains have gone away completely and that hasn't happened since developing this allergy to gluten about 10 years ago. I love this machine, it is the first time in 10 years I've been pain free in my body and I'm back to be active extremely again. Pros 1) anti-inflammatory benefits (joints feel great) 2) more oxygen in your blood (more stamina for longer workouts) 3) gluten allergy blocking (my pain has gone away) 4) cancer preventative - I don't know if this is true, but I've been told that anyone who has cancer, their blood will test out with an acidity level. I've also been told cancer cannot grow in an alkaline environment. Therefore, it makes sense that drinking alkaline water helps prevent cancer because the human body is mostly made up of water. Cons 1) it's a large investment amount 2) alkaline filter is pricey, but only needs to be changed yearly 3) machine will need to be descaled either monthly, quarterly, or twice a year depending on your water hardness or softness UPDATE: We clean it and replace the filters periodically, but after the first 6 months of getting a 9.5 pH, we've been stuck at 8.5 pH even on the highest setting. Not sure what else to do to get us back to a 9.5 pH.
