Fits, well made.
Filters are the last thing that should be of unknown quality. This filter fits, its made well, and it likely works well. Mahle is a well respected name in the industry. Unlike many other once respected companies, Mahle seems not yet to have sold themselves out. Stamped "Made in Austria", ..what more to say? Costs about a dollar or two more. ...Significantly less than a replacment engine.

Good quality. I have had my 240D for 37 years, and putting quality filters is part of the reason for that. Don't trust your car to the cheap junk found in most stores.
