“Houston, We Have a Problem…”
The only thing working for this polo is, it’s name. And just like the Apollo-13, this one has a very big problem. I purchased a “L” large, except it fits like an “XL” extra large. The material does not feel like cotton. Cotton is cold and heavy. This material is warm and light. But here is the “cherry on the sunday”, THEY DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS!… Never again.

I believe that I may not have received the shirt I ordered.
I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed. I have been purchasing these shirts from the various suppliers, via Amazon, for a few years now. Despite the correct description found on the outside of the plastic bag it came in, this particular Gildan shirt is different than the several others I have purchased. It is not as “heavy” as my other shirts, but rather it’s more like a t-shirt, with a collar. I haven’t had the shirt more than a couple of days, and have only worn it once, so I haven’t had much of a chance to check out the shirt tag. I can say though, that the tag is not located in the same place as it is on my other Gildan pique polo shirts which may suggest that someone at the manufacturer packaging level, may have placed the wrong style of shirt in the ultra cotton pique bag. This is not a terrible polo shirt, just not the kind that I have received before, and is not quite the nice quality that my other Gildan shirts are.

Size is a bit bigger than expected
The shirts themselves are great if you get the right size but these were shipped from the UK and took way too long to arrive. Once I received them they didn't fit. I recommend going a size smaller than what you'd normally wear because these things run big and were way too "baggy" and returning them is more of a hassle than its worth and had I known I would have found a US seller instead so at least returning them wouldn't be a headache.

Durable
These are surprisingly durable. I bought 4 to wear to work, and I wear them every day. I wash them after each use and have been wearing them for 6 months without signs of wear. No complaints.

Not For Taller People.
I don’t really know what to sayas far as fit. As you can see in the picture, I’m a bigger guy. (240#) But I’m only 5’ 10”. I ordered the XL hoping for a longer body. Unfortunately the shoulder seams are about 3 inches down my arms and I gained nothing in body length. So is it too small? Yes. Is it too big? Yes. If you’re 5’ with broad shoulders, this is for you.

Looks great!
This a work Collar T-shirt and I finds it great because of it's durability to withstand fading and weather elements while it lasted hence my procuring same product again. But ironically, it's not the said items but the company or whomever that sells it gave a false narrative and not owning to the truth when as indicated on their sales Amazon platform the exact date it was stated product will be delivered wasn't. And I was made to understand they tried to delivered it on promised day at 5am in the morning and couldn't for whatsoever reasons. Really, delivery at 5am in the morning to residential address in a wrong CITY(Arlington) than my place of residence at Cedar Hill Texas almost 25 to 30miles apart of their first point of delivery! Advice, shouldn't you don't have said ordered products, it's not the end of the World just simply say so and am sure customers will understand. After all, logistics and transportation not always right but best they can to deliver. Overall, products fits great. But truth and trust matters in business. Let customers knows exact delivery dates than false narratives. Thanks.

Great fit, great color and great price!!
Love these basic polo shirts. Nice fabric and fits perfectly. I just got them and have to wash them to see how much they shrink and will revise this review if they don't fit well afterwards. Assuming they do not shrink, I will be buying more. I purchased Gildan v-neck t-shirts and they shrunk only a little. Gildan is a Canadian manufacturer not made in China.Update: So, they do shrink a bit. I purchased 2 Large, and just ordered an XL. I will update once I receive it and wash it.

What I DO like about this shirt is that it is made of ...
What I DO like about this shirt is that it is made of very good quality cotton pique. Just like the iconic RL polo but without the hideous polo logo and ridiculous price tag (and with an extra collar button). What I do NOT like is that it is very wide (I always wear M but this M fits like a large) and completely shapeless. This may be nice for fat guys who have something to hide, but for athletic or average guys like me it fits like a potato bag. I would be willing to pay at least twice as much and would buy them in all available colors if they had a modern slim fit. And the color maroon that I bought looks more like bordeaux to me. Therefore not recommended unless you are a chubby guy;-)

Reliable brand with consistent and generous sizing
Size-for-size Gildan all-cotton polos are larger than the ones you get from Fruit Of The Loom. And unlike the FOTL ones, they don't shrink, whereas FOTL polos in my experience drop almost a size, even in a 30C wash and low temp tumble drying.* For the very low price Gildan delivers light-to-medium material with no polyester. Yes, it's low-end stuff, and the filter in the tumble dryer is packed with cotton powder rather than long strands. However, I am still wearing Gildan polos from years ago, and I wear them all year round. Like my first ones, this batch was made in Honduras, and the maroon colour is just the same as on the polos I have washed for five years. Unless you want to pay a lot more, Gildan is a solid choice for 100% cotton 'valueweight' polos. You'll need to pay at least three times as much to take a step up. Solid 5 stars for the money.*To be fair, I think FOTL says to wash cold. But who does that with sweaty polos?

Not 100% Cotton
I was looking for 100% cotton polo shirts, as polyester shirts seemed to be annoying my skin. These are listed at 100% cotton and are from a known brand, so went for them. These shirts are not 100% cotton as stated in the product description - they are 90% cotton and 10% polyester.- Adult 100% preshrunk cotton, heavyweight pique polo.- Tubular construction.- 100% Cotton- Machine Washable- Tunic- Long Sleeves- 3800Will leave seller poor feedback too as its not an acceptable "error".

Nice quality. Did shrink a little after washing and tumble drying
I deliberately bought mens tops as I don't like the shape of most women's tops. I prefer a straight, loose fitting top to the contoured look. These arrived packed well and no unnecessary wrinkles. At first I thought the collar was going to be too big. One of the downsides of buying mens fitting. But after washing and tumble drying it was fine. The description says 100% preshrunk but I found that they did shrink a little more after they were washed and tumble dried. The quality is nice, quite a heavy material.Good value and recommended

Well made work T-Shirt
We bought these T-shirts recently for a good Work look. They are well made and look good.Upon advice from other reviewers I opted for a Small as many said these were oversized. I think the Medium would actually have been the best fit, as after one wash the T-shirt is definitely too tight.(I normally wear Medium Regular Fit T shirts.)The small maybe ok if you are used to Medium Slim Fit T-shirts, but if you are more regular fit, then I would stick with Medium.
