The turtle likes it. This is used along side a heat lamp, this bulb gives it the uvb. Sheldon (the turtle) sits there on a rock sun bathing.

Perfect UVA and UVB light/bulb
Fast delivery, well packaged. A good quality uva/b light for my turtle. Please note this is for uva/b only and not a heating lamp which is exactly what was required. She seems to like it!

False advertised
In no way is it a heat lamp I bought for daughter for Christmas as she wanted a tortoise to then worry as didn't seem to get hot searches the make ect and found out it is just a uva light that is all so was then left over Christmas trying to find a way to keep tortoise warm till can get to a pet shop to buy one

Not much heat is given off , it’s as hot as a standard light bulb
No heat given off, the light is also quite dull. I put my hand to feel the heat as my tortoise was aiming for the light. But it’s like tepid water, no heat. Standard light bulb would give off the equivalent warmth. Not good very disappointed.
