hygger 26W 24/7 Aquarium Light, Adjustable Timer, Adjustable Brightness Fish Tank Light, Aquarium Light for Planting and Freshwater Tanks, 7 Colors [Energy Class A+]

This light is brilliant, lit up my aquarium beautifully and is very slim and sleek looking and has high resitance against water damage due to a coating on the actual led board, the remote to control the light settings could be improved to manually set a time etc.. But biggest con is that somehow the fuse blown within the plug causing a trip on my whole tank system. I suspect there is a capacitor or something inside the plug that can't handle the 24/7 function on the light as this is all I used. The light still works using another power supply I have, so the power supply is faulty but I shouldnt need to purchase another power supply to use the light. Tried contacting Hygger to no avail and unfortunately had to send back to amazon for a refund. Maybe I was unlucky with my item. Buy but be aware.Edit... HYGGER got back in touch with me via WhatsApp and email with an offer to replace the plug due to possible bad batch but Amazon already provided a full refund, I have re-ordered the same light with fingers crossed due to its great performance for the price. Customer service is also great, I guess I rushed for a response and forgot about that thing called timezones. Please don't let my review put you off. But be assured if you do have a faulty plug, Hygger will sort the problem out.Product rating 5 stars from me.

The media could not be loaded. Fabulous little unit so far. Controls could be made more simple and if it had a remote control would be even better. Really bright when set to the white/daylight option, but all the other colour options are a bit disappointing and not very bright, especially the blue as it is nowhere near as bright as shown in the image and description

Wider and more powerful light intensity which my plants will love and so easy to set up with timer feature simple plug, play, forget it sorts the rest. I love mine

How technology has moved on since I first started keeping tropical fish about 50 years ago. Back then we used incandescent bulbs and were permanently worried about water splashing on them! Few of us had light timers, so we had to remember to turn lights on and off at suitable times of day to keep the plants alive. Now we have marvellous lighting systems like this one from Hygger. It has a built in variable timer. It can mimic natural lighting from dawn until dusk and beyond both in colour and intensity. It runs cool and you no longer have to worry about water splashes. Brilliant! And all for the price of three or four half decent aquarium fluorescent tubes that need replacing every couple of years. This Hygger HG-978 should last for 50000 hours plus, which is about 8 years on the default settings (17 hours a day). But nothing is totally perfect. The lead from the LED unit to the light controller is a tad short if you have the light at the front of a large aquarium and want the controller outside the tank hood. It’s only just long enough for my 38cm wide tank. Also, the light controller forgets its settings if it is disconnected from mains power for any reason. But those are very minor gripes by comparison with what you get for your hard earned pounds. If only these existed all those years ago......

What a great light for the money. Super bright with plenty of brigntess levels and colours to choose from. The 24hr option is very handy also as it basically does all of the work for you. It also feels like a very high quality due to the aluminium construction.If I had to critique it, I would like to have more control over the activation times and what the brightness levels are at in the 24hr mode. And it would be nice if it had risers as it sits very close to the water. But these things come at the higher end I guess. For what you're paying for one of these, it's hard to complain much at all. It's a fantastic little aquarium light that does its job and looks great.Highly recommended.

Good light. I bought this to replace the basic light for my 80ltr Tetra Starter Line tank that came with it. That light screwed out and this light comes with extendable arms that fit on either side of the tank, the lid still fits on (just abou, but enough). This Hygger light gives you options if different colours and brightness, even giving you a colour change show, however, I tend to have the light on a 24hr cycle, which goes through from sunrise to sunset, then moonlight to switched off for 8hrs so giving the fish a gentle wake up and night time routine. Easy enough to set up as well (technophobe here)

After receiving my light it had a small issue. I emailed them straight away with a vid clip of what was happening and Luna replied very quickly and sent out a new light that was with me in days.Fantastic customer service and a great product.

I have two 49” 75 gallon freshwater planted tanks that both use this light, and it has caused my foreground and carpet plants to FINALLY start growing (in addition to Seachem Flourish, Flourish Excel, and Fluval Stratum). Very easy to assemble, makes the tank look nice, and I have not had any problems such as flickering or outages in the past couple of months that I have had this product. The timer settings are useful for if I’m not home, the brightness levels are adjustable for different plants and fish species, and the length of the light is, too. For the price it’s amazing; I’d recommend this light to anyone, especially on a budget.

Es un buen producto de calidad, y para acuarios pequeños en mi caso alumbra a la perfección, todo llego en buen estado y rápido. Además de que tiene varias tonalidades lo que hace resaltar los colores de los peces y acuario y sus funcionalidades son lo mejor, hay un modo 24/7 que te ahorra la fatiga de estarla prendiendo o apagando manualmente. 100% recomendable.

Hasta ahora sigue funcionando, y esta echa de buenos materiales, si llega a fallar cambiaré la calificación.

Got so frustrated with timers on previous lights, so thought I'd try this one. The 24 hr timer that simulates a day/night cycle not only looks fantastic but plants love it. Couldn't be happier with this light for the price. I have several others tanks and will be slowly replacing all the lights with these.
