Skin Illustrator FX Palette - Alcohol Activated Palette - A MUST HAVE by PPI

Skin illustrators are a staple in my pro special effects makeup kit. I use them for every sfx look. Alcohol activated paints last through sweat, hours of acting, drinking, eating etc. The pigment is amazing and versatile! They last a very long time you dont need alot for impact, you definitely get yourmoney's worth! Its an amazing investment The picture provided was done with 90% skin illustrator products!

really fantastic palette! great for bruises, cuts, scrapes, zombies or any other realistic gore. a little bit goes a LONG way. don't be put off by the fact that the paint trays look "half full". this is because you need that extra space in the tray to add a bit of alcohol or activator. i also can't stress how much i recommend the skin illustrator activator for this if you are doing face makeup. there is no stinging or harsh alcohol fumes which is so much nicer for you and your model.

Love this palette! Sometimes the skin tone colors and the basic SI palettes lacks the ability to make a lighter skin tone shade. I always have this to do just that. If I had to take one SI palette, I would choose this one because obv the possibilities are endless!

Rich colors, stays on skin like a dream! Once it dried, I could rub my hand against the colors on my skin and it doesn’t come off! It is easily removable with rubbing alcohol or makeup remover. Highly recommend this product

This is really easy to use, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It blends well during application, and it dries quickly and completely. I used this several nights in a row for Halloween and I have extremely sensitive skin, but I did not have any irritation whatsoever using this on my legs, chest, neck, and arms. It looks incredibly realistic, and it does not rub off onto clothes or other people. It really doesn't come off until you want it to come off. I used the Telesis makeup remover to take it off, because regular makeup wipes did not cut it. And it did stain the washcloth I used to remove it, but I think it's worth it for such a cool effect! Just use a quality makeup remover and an old or dark towel and you'll be fine.

First thing you have to know is this is an alcohol activated product which you need 99% isopropyl alcohol to activate it, apply it and take it off with. It will not work without it. 99% isopropyl alcohol is not sold in most stores (belive me I spent a whole day searching) so save yourself the time and buy it online in advance. Second thing you need to know is this pallet may seem 'half full' however the amount you receive is exactly the amount of product there is supposed to be, as the extra space is for the alcohol to sit. Third, a little bit goes a long way. That being said, this product came exactly as advertised and applied amazingly. I'm a first time user of the product and only dabble with stuff like this for Halloween, but I seriously couldn't be happier with the outcome. I applied it to the inner of my 'laceration' before applying anything else and to my neice to kind of zombiefy her (PG so without a bite). I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. This is a 5 star product which I will buy again.

This was my first Alcohol activated paint, and is the best!!! Is not cheap, but is totally worth it. I can mix colors and create whatever I want, last forever and is just amazing!

Arrived dried out looking or previously melted. Front row 1/2 full. Returning, hopefully the next one I ordered is better.
