It was hard to tell from the description that this unit could be wall mounted or ceiling mounted (more pictures examples are needed). It also mounts from the top of the silver body section or the end. The exit sign Plexiglas section is on a hinge that can flip 90 degrees. Decal direction arrows are also included if needed. I say all of this because I was impressed with the mounting flexibility of the unit. I bought 5 of these to replace another manufacturer's junky plastic units that broke in pieces when trying to replace the batteries. The casing on these new units are metal and to replace the batteries in the future would be very simple. I have been an electrician for over 40 years and have installed many light fixtures, including exit lights. I thought these were some of the best designs I have come across.
