Mossberg 500, 590 Shockwave Raptor Shotgun Grip Wrap

I bought the grip for a Mossberg Shockwave 20GA I bought for my wife. Grip went on fairly easily but you should definitely have a hair dryer at hand as it greatly facilitates the installation. Does not take much heat but a little helps a lot in attaining a smooth installation. Once on they felt great, not to gritty, but providing a nice firm, non-slip grip. My wife also liked them (which was the whole point of the exercise). I wold definitely consider these for other weapons such as my 12GA tactical shotgun.

I am a novice when it comes to things like this but I was easily able to install with very little hassle, instructions were clear, just make sure you have a heat gun or hair dryer handy. Definitely improves the grip, my shockwave feels more secure in my hand

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is that I haven't shot my gun with this grip tape yet so I'm not 100% on how it will hold up over time. Other than that it fits very well. You have to be very careful and put the grip on slowly making sure it's even and making sure there's no air pockets. If you follow the directions you'll be good. My 870 with the raptor grip feels much better in my hands. This tape gives me stable positioning and traction. I'm looking forward to shooting witb ir and seeing how it holds up.

This grip gives you a much better non-slip grip on a Raptor head grip. Some people say it is a little to aggressive on the hands and suggest gloves but even after several boxes of shells I never felt any discomfort. Simple and effective design at a good price. Buy with confidence.

I tried to save a couple of bucks and should have gone with what I know! Talon Grips work every time I have used them.These do not fit as well; adhesion is weak at best even if you use the stated hair dryer technique and then you have to replace them anyway.

I wanted to wait a few days before reviewing this grip. I was worried reading some reviews that the fit would be cruddy or wouldn't be that much of a difference. There also wasn't allot of pictures of all the sides.Well I can say it fits amazing. I took my time though lining up the top center piece and then heat treated it while gently rolling the edges hard.This grip already got a few good Knicks from a wooden corner, even got scraped. However it didn't peel, or make a mark.The texture of the grip is like a mix of leather and sticky rubber. I noticed it can be smooth and make my hand glide. But when I actually hold on or pull it out of the scabbard it locks on reaaalll gooood.So that's my take on it, I was sceptical but I'm glad I bought it.I will proudly display the CDS punisher skull on the side.(By the was it comes with a badass skull in the same material. Shown in picture.)

It works very well . It's easy to install, fits nicely, greatly improves the grip, is very durable, and doesn't peel off (if installed correctly).

Given the largely positive reviews, I was pretty confident about this product, but the actual result was bad. The fit was terrible, it would not have ever been able to get the bubbles out because it's just cut poorly for the grip. A hairdryer wouldn't fix that. Even if it did fit, the adhesive was just hot trash terrible. I swabbed with rubbing alcohol and waited for it to be bone dry but even then, the grip would peel up of its own accord. I'd have hoped in 2019, we had already cracked sticker technology. I don't know if I just got a bad batch, but it really didn't stick in a way that would have been stable in any way. It's a shame too cause I can't imagine I can return this like I would any other defective product. Annoying. Now I have to spend even MORE money. Don't buy this, save yourself time, frustration and money
