I've read the other reviews that claim this guard is flimsy, etc. Sorry, but I can't agree.While I returned the clipper guard, the guard is not flimsy. In fact, its reasonably well made due to the thickness of the fins.The reason I returned is I expected a 3 inch guard to leave hair 3 inches long. But it didn't for me, it left my hair longer than 3". Perhaps it was not enough hair in one spot to full up the fins between the clipper guard, angle I would hold my head at, etc. I ended up using a 2 1/4 to get a length of about 3". I have thick hair.Guard works fine.

I have thick hair and this should have worked. It does not pick up hair enough to trim it.

I found that it worked for one family member with finer hair than it did for another person with thicker hair.

Pure trash. This product was made incorrectly. It fits on the trimmer, but the way it connects to the blade is not right for trimming hair. Do not purchase.
