Awesome stereo!
Super easy to install, did require cutting and splicing of wires but no difference from any other head unit. Fit nice and snug in single din location and wayyyy more solid than previous mount. Utilizes a clamp style bracket that goes all around back of unit with screws in front sandwiching the helm between, super solid! Sounds great, easy to use and BT connection is wayyy better than last unit. Also the app makes it easy to tune sound parameters right from phone! Wish I had gotten one of these sooner!!

Garmin Bluetooth Raido
Excellent little radio, it’s a lot smaller than a typical car type radio but works great. Easy to install and hook up. Bluetooth connects easily and sounds great, it’s plenty loud as well. I have in my pontoon boat paired with 4 Rockville 6 1/2” speakers. I may add an amplifier later but it’s not necessary.

Excellent Stereo
Sounds great, blue tooth works great. Not super loud, would recommend amp if you want to rock the locks or lake or listen to over motor at 50+ mph but perfect for mellow boat rides...

Boat radio
Nice radio replacement for my old Sony radio. I did my the replacement insert since my other radio was bigger. Easy install with good instructions. Easy to navigate.

Why such a well reccomended product?
This is such a well reccomended product but has issues. First time out on the boat and there is a line going through the screen and things don't work as they should. When you turn volume up on phone it only operates zone 1 not both 1 and 2. Fast forward to today and now there are two lines through the screen. I missed my return window by a few days so I guess I'm stuck with it

Skip the junk, buy this.
I replaced several "marine" stereos before switching to this. They were junk, no different than the automotive versions. Absolutely no resistance to moisture with warranty that specifically excludes damage due to moisture. This is what a marine stereo should always be.....

Fantastic
I have had this radio for over a year. The only thing I wished I would have done is purchased the unit to go with my new Garmin fish finder because it would have been able to be displayed through it. I have a 21' boat and use my phone from the back of the boat to change the am/fm station or play the music from my phone through it. It has an amp that can power mid sized speakers to a good volumn. However, if you want to bump the music, I would not crank this all the way, I would purchase an amp so that you don't burn out this unit. Hooking an amp up to it is very easy. This was a great investment.
