Can this follow a car?

The software is designed to follow bodies and faces and will not follow a car. You can have it lock-on to a passenger within the car as long as that person is visible through the window.

All the photos show the device following from behind. Can Hover Passport be programmed to follow in front to capture faces?

It will follow faces, and uses guestures to snap photos. I found it gets confused when following if you don’t turn around. If I walk at it, it backs up - though it seems to have sensor issues in reverse as it ran into a wall, something it normally avoids.

Must-have for Hover Camera

Super lightweight and nearly a must-have for the Hover Camera. Why do I say a must-have? Because these things take up nearly no space and add almost no weight but give you an extra 20-30 minutes of flight time. The Hover Camera isn't known for incredibly long battery life so to get the best out of it I'd recommend this.
