Transparent Purple IS PETG, NOT PLA!
The media could not be loaded. I attempted to print this using PLA settings (210*C nozzle, 50*C bed) and it would not print. I read some other reviews about boosting the temp to 230*C and I got curious. So I ran a quick test to see if it was PLA or PETG.The test consisted of printing an “Offset cube”, where one nozzle has the Ziro “PLA” and the other has Eryone PLA. If Ziro was indeed PLA, then I would not easily be able to separate the two halves. The video has the print setup to prove I didn’t just print two halves separately.Wouldn’t you know it, they popped apart! While not exactly scientific, it’s a pretty good indication. (Second picture)Another test I did was to burn a small bit of the filament with a lighter. PLA has a bit of a sharp bite when smelled.PETG on the other hand, has a slightly “sweet” smell because of the Glycol.Ziro Smelled like PETG.Final nail in this coffin. I started another print with this filament, but with a “middle ground” setting using ZIRO’s own PETG settings. 245C nozzle, 70C bed and 50mm/s speed. It prints well at these settings! PLA would be a melted mess at these temps. (Third picture)So, if it looks like PETGSmells like PETGAND Prints like PETGAccording to Ziro, it’s PLA.1 star for false advertising Ziro. It’s a pretty filament, but it’s not Translucent Purple PLA. It’s PETG.

Clogs and strings. If you want my spool I'll give it to you.
I could not get this filament to work. I got one so-so print, and many failures. Lots of stringing (which I could live with, honestly) and clog after clog after clog. I tried multiple temperatures from 215-235. I cleaned my nozzle. I turned my fan off. I gave up when I could not get any extrusion at 235, after which I cleaned my nozzle again and moved to another filament. Lesson learned: Don't just read the first couple pages of reviews. Filter for one- and two-stars.Pros- Price is good. Green color is very nice. Adhesion was good at 70 degree bed until it clogged about 3 minutes in.Cons- Doesn't work. At least not on my Flashforge Adventurer 3/ Monoprice VoxelIf anyone in Boise Idaho wants mine, I'll give it to you.

Love it
The media could not be loaded. Makes a beautiful glossy finish and very translucent, especially for a pla. Works perfect between 195 and 200. Best economy product I've had yet. Hope consistency is the same across all of their products because I'm getting ready to order plenty more. Great job Ziro!

Tricky filament for unusual reasons.
This PLA looks amazing. I was overwhelmingly excited to try out out. Much to my dismay, it did not cooperate very well on the first couple tries. Could not get it to stick. Granted, calibration was the problem at first. Fixed that but then it wouldn't stick. Fixed that, then the print kicked over half way. Cue redoing calibration and, bam, not sticking again under the same circumstances. Finally I try blue tape, hairspray, AND glue stick. Now it seems to hold. Then i hit problem 2. Rafts and supports are "releasing" the model before it really starts. Essentially, the detachable interface doesn't hold the proper model and the main print gets kicked away by the hotend. So I stare at the printer watching the layers wiggle around, hoping they survive long enough to be bound down by later layers, when it occurs to me... I do two things: turn my heated bed up to 60c (normally it's on 50c) and turn the hotend exhaust fan down to only 5% (was running at about 80%). Bam! No more detachment.I need to run more tests to be sure, but I believe this filament doesn't laminate to cooled surfaces and doesn't stick when cooled too quickly.Tldr: if it doesn't stick or pulls apart, try turning down any fans that cool the surface of the printed material. I believe if you treat this stuff like ABS, but print at PLA temp, you'll have some pretty good results.

Great color, nice transparency!
The translucent Ziro filaments are my favorite! The colors are vibrant and the transparency adds an element of interest to single color printed items. Most models I tried with this filament printed fine at usual temps on my Artillery Sidewinder X1, however the gyroscope earrings and dragon eggs were a bit more challenging.Normally I print the earrings & eggs with standard PLA at 200-210C on 60C bed at 60mm/s. The Ziro Translucent Purple PLA required 230C nozzle & 80C bed on first layer to get proper bed adhesion. After the first layer, temps were decreased (set in the slicing software Simplify 3D) to 220C nozzle & 60C bed. I also slowed the print to 40mm/s, with the first layer printing at 50% speed. The file still printed in about an hour. That combination rewarded me with success, and a pretty pair of spinning purple earrings!I highly recommend Ziro Translucent Purple filament for your 3D printing amusement.

Color is off
As far as filament goes this is average, it prints like most other PLAs though it doesn't feel as strong as a hatchbox solid color pla.Transparency is nice in vase mode very transparent. If you hit it with XTC 3D it would probably look great. There is almost a metallic sheen to it in vase mode. Printing normal objects wont be this filaments strong point and the colors will be very light orange if its not solid. The biggest issue that I have this this is the T-Red is not red. Not even close to red this is a pale orange to peach color. The sample pics that I have for this its sitting under 2 different light sources both are next to an example of Inland's Orange. Now I have to find a use for this stuff because I'm not going to use it for what I wanted now that I see the color.

Worst filament I have used so far
Had real problems getting this to adhere to the bed and have had several clogs, something I haven't dealt with in a long time with any other PLA+. Temp tower had stringing from 190 - 230°C, I couldnt stop it. The filament snapped even though there was no tension and seems very brittle. No wonder it is cheap. The colour is more of a pinky purple to a deep purple as the picture shows. I'm binning it. The winding is such a mess compared to anything I have ordered before, I considered sending it back instantly but thought I would try anyway. The only plus I can think of is that they give you a resealable bag which i paid £18.99 for. lol. Lesson learned. Cheap filament is cheap for a reason,. I won't be buying again. It isn't user error. I print on a Mk3S and run it for between 8 and 12 hours a day and have for 6 months using all types of filament with no problems. This one I cannot get anywhere near good results or consistency with.

Excellent value for money
I got red sparkle and purple translucent, so far this has been my favorite filament I've tried (out of about 30 reels from different manufacturers).Good mechanical stability printing from 190 to 210 degrees, though higher temperatures are definitely stronger. A little on the stringy side at high temperatures, but part of the art of 3d printing is picking the correct temperature for particular prints. Both colours are vibrant and consistent. Plus point for supplying a re-sealable bag too keep it dry. Now lets have some refills/master spools so I don't have to fill landfill with empty spools!I've ordered up another 3 spools of other colours, I really cant argue with the £15 price point and excellent quality.I almost never give five stars, but Ziro gets them from me.

Wasn't sure at first..
I saw this and loved the colour so decided to get a roll. When it was printing the first later it did look really transparent and washed out with hardly any colour but as the layers built up the colour really popped out and as another reviewer stated - it does print the same colour as it is on the drum!First time I've used a transparent colour and it looks almost like stained glass.Really nice to print with on my CR10s at 210°c and 60°c bed.I'll definitely be trying some of ziro's other colours.

Excellent filament!!!!! 5 Stars
Great filament, i should have read up on how hard it is to get projects to print almost clear before printing this vase however even though i mucked it up the frosted glass effect is cool as hell lol. More importantly the little thing holds water which is fantastic as other friends have used different filaments which allowed water through. Great filament to use, excellent value for money and the quality is second to none.

Good filament but requires careful storage
This is a nice looking pla that’s similar in strength to solid coloured pla. That gives it the edge over many silk pla products because it doesn’t seem to be strength degraded. It prints and normal pla bed and extrudes temperature which for my set up means 50c bed 210c extruded (other printers may differ). However unlike most pla mine has needed to be stored in a dry box within a day or two out of its packaging because it appears to be extremely hydroscopic.
