If you want to turn your morning shower into a 10-minute retreat to India, buy this. It’s a small luxury that actually makes a difference in your day. Pro-Tip: Get a wooden soap dish with slats. If you let this sit in a puddle of water, you’re literally melting your money away.

Love the soap. Hate that when I order a 4 pack I only receive 1. This has happened to me twice. Thankfully amazon is quick to refund.

SMELLS GREAT!
Smells SO good! I recently found this soap in a local store and bought the 2 they had in stock. When I went back a week or so later, they were no longer carrying it. Happy to find it here because it makes my morning shower just a little better. It fills the room with an incredible aroma and jump starts my day.

The scent is perfect. I use for hand soap in kitchen and bathroom and also the best if you have any issue with stinky armpits

Mystery of Missing Sandalwood
As other reviewers have noted, some batches of this soap smell more like sandalwood than others. I have a bar from a batch I purchased at my local food co-op (box circled in left in photo). This bar has way more sandalwood scent than the one on the right which I purchased from Amazon. So try looking for the one on the left. Also note that the one on the left was purchased in 2019 but packaged in 2015. The one on the right was packaged in 2017. On the other hand, I found the newer bar to be even more moisturizing. I use this soap for both body and hair, and it works great.

Avoid this vendor
I love this soap, it's a standard for me. But instead of two packages of 4 bars each, I received two bars. Amazon accepted the return, but that's simply not right.

Good Fragrance with Quality foaming Soap @ Great Price
Its a budget price soap with Sandal Wood Fragrance and generates good amount of foam. Comes in standard packing with not much sealing but still retains the fragrance.
