I don't write nearly as many reviews as I probably should because I certainly read them all the time. And I can't ever remember doing a review on a product that I returned. But this is what happened with these terrific speakers! I'm currently using the Klipsch RP-600M Reference Premiere Bookshelf Speakers with my Eversolo Play - CD Edition (which I really like despite its apparent lack of party-level high volume). I chose the Klipsch as my first choice mainly due to their sensitivity level as they are purported to have a loud sound–albeit sometimes described as too bright, harsh or “lively”--even at moderate volume levels. Now I know volume knobs differ and that lowest to highest level isn't necessarily linear but algorithmic or geometric or whatever the word might be. I don't know I'm not an audiophile. I just think it's odd to have to turn the volume almost all the way up to be even modestly loud. So I'm searching for speakers that don't require me to crank the volume to the max to get reasonably loud sound. These Pyle 6.5" Home Audio Speakers were a pair that I tested. I almost chose them over the $350 Klipsch! Key word is almost. They got almost as loud, even seemed to have a bit more detail, dare I say clarity, with some genre/songs. They even look better than the Klipsch! (subjective, I know) But alas they lacked the bass and fullness of the Klipsch speakers and didn’t get quite as loud either but they were darn close! For $114 these are incredible speakers. If you’re on a tight budget or looking for a smaller room…den/office/bedroom, I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend them. I nearly kept them even though I have no real use for them…that’s how good they are! For the cost, they are 5 star speakers.

These are an extremely fine value! These replaced a set of Paradigm Monitor SE Atoms. Unlike the others, these do not sound brittle or cripsy. as I have found most speakers of late. Went through many types of speakers like SONY and Parts Express. These remind of of the M&K MPS1620P Studio Monitors. Simpler build, but like design philosophy. I was thinking about going back to Magnapan MMGs, but these are suiting me fine as a casual listner. I have been an audio nut since 1970 and enjoy jazz, classical and show tunes – the most.

OMG. Absolutely blown away by these speakers (for the price). These have as much bass as my old EPIs I bought in the 80s. I threw out my old center channel low end Bose speaker because it only detracted from the sound quality. Back in the 70s I sold stereo equipment and built a number of my own speaker systems. Note I've never bought the really high end stuff so maybe I'm easy to pease. NOTE, they're still bookshelf speakers. A little subwoofer boost around 100Hz is very helpful, but they do surprisingly well even without .

Just a warning that these speakers are incorrectly listed and pictured here as 6.5 inches deep. They are not! They are actually 9.5 inches deep. I’m returning these as they do not fit on the shelf I bought them for. The 3 star rating is only due to the incorrect measurement listing. They may be great speakers but I can’t place them where needed.

Solid, big, punchy sound. Sturdy. Well made. Paired with Rockville 6.5 subwoofet for living room and TV. Very nice small speakers, with a clean big sound. I'd highly recommend for smaller great rooms, office, den, etc.

I ordered these to replace the small crappy speakers that came with a panasonic cd player/tuner. These made all the difference! I wanted a deep punchy bass sound and these delivered! I had to buy speaker wires, but that was ok since i could create the lengths that were needed. It was easy to connect the wires to each unit. Now the cds and tuner sound fine.

My goodness these speakers are incredible value, they look and sound great! build quality is very beautiful. These speakers sound better than $1000.00 speakers I have in my living room and I only paid $80.00 bucks on sale for these excellent speakers. They are worth getting even at full price (about $160 bucks), the soundstage of these speakers is amazing. I can wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend these unique speakers.

Good all round speakers for price good bass clear sound on a pioneer vs x 534 but no speaker brackets as advertised that's why only 4 stars

These speakers are quite well balanced and neutral sounding. Very pleasant. Mid-highs are scooped abit, making the highs quite clear. Wooden finish on the black model is quite nice

They were slightly bigger than I expected. But they worked wonderfully and I am fully satisfied
