you have to use super tiny sections of hair

Being a former stylist, I was skeptical about this product but my daughter wanted one of the curling devices for Christmas. I bought this one because of the glowing reviews. We tried it on my daughter's medium length hair with various settings and configurations with no success. Curls were unpredictable, random and extremely loose. They fell out withing seconds of removing them from the curler. After seeing how the device works, i cant even imagine how this could possibly work. To achieve any "curl" at all, you have to use super tiny sections of hair. It would take hours to curly the entire head. The product also comes with an instruction guide with little to no instruction at all. The instructions that were actually there were in broken English and difficult to understand. We used videos from the internet to figure it out.
