The set was prepared in a 1:48 scale model with the use of 538 COBI construction blocks. The set includes high-quality prints imitating the painting of the original aircraft. The model is equipped with a folding undercarriage and rotating wheels. There are high-quality prints on the blocks. There are no stickers here! Under the wings is a large arsenal of weapons. You can place a special pilot figure in the cabin. The set also includes a block display stand and a plate with the name of the aircraft. This exclusive, licensed set is aimed at everyone, regardless of age, including aviation and military fans. The plane also looks equally attractive in an office or in a teenager's room. Boeing F/A-18CHornet is an American supersonic multi-role US Navy aircraft, which has been in production since 1978. It is one of the most modern US Navy aircraft. The F/A-18 planes were used for the first time in combat in 1986 during an air raid on Libya. Operation "Desert Storm" in Iraq in 1991 was an opportunity for wider combat use of the Hornets. Review: Amazing Set - This Cobi F-18 is the best Cobi jet on the market. It is a time-consuming build but is not challenging. It has very stable landing gear and looks amazing on the stand or on wheels. The detailed prints on the rear stabilizer fins are outstanding. I love the American Flag print on the back. None of the printed parts came smudged, like some of the Lego prints. There are no lose or fragile parts and everything came as promised. The average retail price at 64 U.S. dollars is more than fair. If Lego sold a jet of this size and caliber, it would be more than 100 dollars. Overall, this set is great for all ages. It is strong enough for play and detailed enough for display. Review: Outstanding build. - COBI is one of the best manufacturers/suppliers. Sturdy builds and great display pieces. ## Features - 538 high-quality blocks - Plane in 1:48 scale under the original license from Boeing - Display stand and name plate included to proudly display your completed model - Clear and intuitive instructions based on illustrations and step-by-step directions - Fully compatible with other brands of construction blocks ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B6WBMN1W | | Additional Features | Foldable, Portable | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Battery Description | Not Required | | Best Sellers Rank | #500,152 in Toys & Games ( See Top 100 in Toys & Games ) #14,104 in Toy Building Sets | | Brand Name | COBI | | Color | Various | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 128 Reviews | | Educational Objective | Construction Skills, Creative Thinking | | Included Components | Product Manual | | Item Dimensions | 14.2 x 11.8 x 4.3 inches | | Item Type Name | Building Kit | | Manufacturer | COBI | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5810 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 90 Day Warranty Against Manufacturer Defects | | Manufacturer recommended age | 8 years and up | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane | | Model Number | 5810 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Players | 1 | | Operation Mode | Push | | Power Source | Manual/Mechanical | | Scale | 1:48 Scale | | Set Name | Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane | | Size | 14.2 x 11.8 x 4.3 inches | | Subject Character | American | | Theme | Vehicle | | Toy Vehicle Form | Airplane | ## Images ![COBI Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51BO0bhqKwL.jpg) ![COBI Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61oDFJqGzSL.jpg) ![COBI Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61vekrKH9sL.jpg) ![COBI Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51lD9BREaaL.jpg) ![COBI Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Gavzh86QL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Set *by A***A on October 1, 2025* This Cobi F-18 is the best Cobi jet on the market. However, some parts, such as the leading edge extensions, nozzles, and nose tip, tend to come loose easily, but overall it is still a great set with good quality pieces and printing, and a very good representation of the Hornet. ## Frequently Bought Together - COBI Armed Forces F/A-18C Hornet U.S. Plane - COBI Panavia Tornado IDS - COBI Top Gun F-14A Tomcat Fighter Plane - 1:48 Scale 754 Piece Building Set with Maverick and Goose Figures --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/466419554-cobi-armed-forces-f-a-18c-hornet-u-s-plane](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/466419554-cobi-armed-forces-f-a-18c-hornet-u-s-plane) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
