The picture is of a broken screen protector. There was a small accident where something was dropped onto the phone. It hit the bottom causing it to crack and spider web out. In a panic I picked the phone up and peeled the screen protector off. The phone was completely unharmed. The screen protector did exactly what it was advertised to do. These screen protectors are pocket change compared to a screen replacement/new phone (especially these iphones).This kit is a great kit. It comes with 3 screen protectors to pretty much last the lifetime of the phone and give you some wiggle room if you mess up installing. Installation is really easy. Making it dead simple is that is comes with a little frame that goes along the phone to help guide the screen protector into the correct position. I was able to apply the screen protector to the phone is the perfect spot with no bubbles. I do take an extra step of running hot water to get the dust out of the air.I recommend this kit and definitely recommend using a screen protector. I have my own experience as proof that they do indeed save phones from disaster.

Last year I transitioned from the expensive glass screen protectors to this less expensive one. It was on my iPhone 7 and I found it to be just as good as the more expensive brands. So when I ordered my iPhone X I came back to this brand. The plastic guide was a genius idea. I'm OCD and always labor over getting my screen protectors perfectly situated. I always order extras because I know I'll go through several. However, these protectors came with a guide that made my life SO MUCH easier. One screen protector perfectly centered, and on the first try!. By far my easiest screen protector installation ever!I read a few reviews that complained about the protector not going "all the way to the edge of the screen," and would like to address this issue. Normally I don't comment on other reviewers complaints, but I feel compelled to on this one. What you have to remember is that glass doesn't bend. Despite the edge to edge design of this gorgeous phone, there is a curve to the outer edge of the screen. Because of this the protector MUST end before it gets to this curve or the protector wouldn't seal around all the edges. I think as technology advances we tend to think it should be able to do everything. That just isn't possible and I think we need to start looking at things with an eye more towards reality versus what we want.Overall, I think these are well worth their cost. I've used the expensive ones and wasn't any happier using them, just poorer. I can also attest to the durability of this product. I have an issue where my hands periodically just lose their grip and anything I'm holding hits the floor. When I had this protector on my iPhone 7 my phone hit the floor at MINIMUM half a dozen times a day, and my screen protector NEVER cracked. The only time I had an issue was when my cat decided to taste test the corner of my phone and her teeth cracked the corner of the protector. But it did its job in protecting my phone screen so I was okay with that. Remember folks, reality is the key. Unless something seriously changes I can't see being anything less than happy with these.

I used several glass protectors but they were difficult to install perfectly - it was almost impossible to align then to fit the screen and they had too many protective layers to remove - again more steps to install and I'd get my fingerprints on everything.I bought this one because it had an aligner so the screen would install correctly - and IT DOES. Just snap the guide over the phone, peel off the only and one protective strip align the glass with the plastic edge and lay it on the screen. It works perfectly - it is aligns exactly with the screen. And no bubbles etc. The screen just 'sucks down' onto the surface and if you somehow manage to mis align (hard to do) its simple to lift up and reinstall - with NO BUBBLEs!The glass is durable - I have managed to break two so over the course of two years I have used all 3 that came in the box - but that is the reason to use these - you don't break the screen. Over time, these do scratch due to keys, change, drops - but never has my primary screen been damaged at all. I am a BIG FAN.And, its super smooth - so running your finger across it is silky smooth. The phone is just as responsive as the native, uncovered, screen. So you don't even know its there.I give it 5 stars and a best value rating!

Easy install. The video by TechMatte showed how to do it. Unlike the other I just reviewed, this install frame was solid, not wimpy and not warped. One frame for three protectors, so also cheaper! Thank you.

I selected the amFilm Screen Protector from TechMatte due to how AWESOME they are! I have the protector for the Nintendo Switch based on a recommendation of others on Reddit. I didn't even think twice about getting these for my iPhone X. They take only a few minutes to install and the clarity is again, AWESOME!. They DO NOT bubble. If they do for you, you are doing it wrong and it is your fault, not the vendors!I highly recommend putting on some latex gloves just to ensure you don't have any accidental fingerprints prior to installing. Make sure you are in a very well lit area to ensure all dust particles are off the phone.Both my wife and I got new iPhone X's this week and it was great to only have to buy 1 pack for such an AMAZING price. We have a spare in the event one cracks.If i have to buy more, I won't even question it, and will just keep giving TechMatte more business! GREAT PRODUCT!!!
