I have chronic neck/shoulder tightness because I carry all my stress in those areas. I hoard neck massagers and traction devices because many of them so offer relief. I was really looking forward to this because, well at this price point, you expect something to work.It did not.In fact, it was painful to use.I thought I was doing it wrong but I read the directions and it looks like I was doing it right.I even got my husband to read the directions and he tried it as well. Keep in mind, he has zero neck/shoulder issues and even he was surprised by how uncomfortable - almost downright painful - this device was.I cannot recommend it at all.

This is my first time trying any kind of traction device, though I am very familiar with TENS or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, which is one of the features of this massager. I was immediately impressed by the size and the build of the unit. The cords are strong and thick and the remote is large with a big clear readout. It does take some time to figure out the configuration and how to use the remote to make the device do what you want.There are three settings: heat, electric stim, and traction. The heat is a pleasant warm sensation, it doesn't get overwhelming. The electro-stim is a nice feature, something I have a dedicated unit for already, but adding it to a session of cervical traction without having to engage an entirely separate device is very convenient. There are electro-stim pads built in to the unit which hit the base of the neck, and additional pads that can be connected to the unit and placed anywhere within the length of the approximately 4' cord. Unfortunately the TENS pads are proprietary, other replacement TENS pads I have will not fit, so the reusable pads may be difficult to replace once they've worn out.The cervical traction is the workhorse of this unit, and it gets mixed marks. It is a little clunky and mechanical, definitely does not feel like a person working your neck. It does the job, however, of stretching the cervical spine and returning it to its original position, repeatedly. After using it for 15 minutes each day with all settings on default (without the extra TENS pads), I definitely notice less stiffness in my neck and upper shoulders, more range of motion and less discomfort. It's a bit pricey, at the time of this review on sale for near $200, but those with neck and shoulder pain know, relief is worth almost any price. I'd recommend trying and seeing if it works for you.

I have lived with neck, pain and love and deep massage in my neck. I know that sounds strange, but that’s what feels good and why I thought this might help me. To me, this is a very weak system. There’s another massager by cozy health, but it’s always out of stock on Amazon. It has airbags. It press against your neck and it warms up and it’s amazing.

As someone who consistently suffers from neck and back pain, I am always looking for something to help with relief. I have tried heating pads, have tried other traction related devices, have tried multiple tens units, have gone to many doctors and multiple chiropractors trying to find relief. This device provides 3 different therapies that work extremely well together. It has neck traction for releasing pressure, helping relieve neck stiffness, and helping with disc realignment. It has heating therapy to relieve muscle stiffness, soreness and fatigue, and it has a low-frequency pulse massage which also has external massage pads that you can attach to other parts of your body to help relieve pain and discomfort. It is really a great combination of pain relief and therapy that normally would require multiple devices to achieve.The device itself is easy enough to use and navigate but it takes a little while to remember all the settings and definitely to find the one that you enjoy the most. Each of the 3 main areas of the device have 3 settings A, B, or AB. For the traction portion, the pressure is divided into Comfort mode, Strengthen tension, and intelligent motion mode. Heating mode options are relatively easy since they are low, medium or high. The electric pulse choices are a little more complex since they include Pulse, Acupuncture, or Intelligent Pulse but along with that it also has 12 levels of intensity to choose from which is a pretty wide range. It also has an auto button to activate auto mode where pressure, heating, electric pulse and acupuncture are combined. You can press the auto button to toggle between different combinations to help determine what is best for you.Once I figured out the settings, it has worked great. I rest my neck on it for 15 minutes of stretching, heat, and muscle stimulation every day, and I already see a big difference in the range of motion in my neck. The heat and stimulation really help relax my neck after a long day and I am definitely sold on this device. It is definitely a quality product that you should try.

I have had neck pain for months. Thought this would help. Not sure if my neck was just too shirt but I did not feel any relief after using it multiple times.
