White Collar Grime: The ORIGINAL Disposable Cotton Hat and Collar Protector 10' USA Made

We've been struggling at our house to increase the life of dress shirts. Everything else on the shirt may stay clean but the inside collars would get dirty after every wear. The constant washing leaves shirts looking old in little time. So, for minimal expense, we purchased this tape and it works perfectly! The tape is soft against the neck, easy to apply, easy to remove and it does its job perfectly. The shirts should have a much longer life as a result and that makes the cost of this tape a real bargain.

I use these on my uniform whites and hat, it's changed everything for the better.

Breathable, soft cotton makes it comfortable and, if stuck on correctly, will work as advertised. Because of the way a collar curves, your first few applications might be off but that's hardly the manufacturer's fault.The adhesive is a tad on the light side, but I suspect that was by design. A stronger glue might have left some of itself on the garment. Not a good thing for a product intended to protect. The workaround is easy enough: once you've stuck the protector on, give it a few minutes for the glue to bond. It'll be good for the rest of the day, even if you leave that top button undone.

I’m back in the office several days a week, and I’ve noticed the ring-around-the-collar on my dress shirts. The ring is hard to launder away, but adding a strip of soft cotton collar protector makes eases my laundry burden and keeps me from having to buy new ones too soon.

I was really impressed to find something so useful and novel, but the cost is prohibitive for working class stiffs to be replacing the strip after every wash. Even if you wear your shirts a few times before washing (by wearing undershirts), the tape can start to peel off a bit, which is uncomfortable on the neck and noticeable (embarrassing). If it were cheaper and stickier, I would give this stuff 5 stars.

First off I bought this product for my mom, she was complaining that her hair product was messing up her work shirts. She has been raving about this since I bought it. It's stays in place and doesn't shift around. But still is easy to remove when taking it off. She loves that she can cut what she needs and it's not standard. It has helped to preserve the life of her uniform shirt since she no longer has to presoak, wash and rewash to get them clean. Will definitely buy again.
