Best Bike Speaker in its Price Range
I bought this in the Spring of 2021. It is now almost Fall 2021. I bought this primarily for my bike. I've had a few different speakers for my bike in the past few years. Most of them were pretty good, but flawed. And most of the flaws originated in the way they attached to the bike. I do not want a speaker that sits in my water bottle cage, so I need one that attaches to the handlebars or near the handlebar stem. And the speakers I've had in the past all had mounts that broke - some quickly, others over time.Anyway, about this speaker. It's a good size, a little bigger than a hockey puck. The sound quality is really good for something so small. There are 5 buttons, but they are pretty easy to use. Power On/Off, Bluetooth Pairing, Volume up, Volume down, and an action button. I'm surprised they didn't combine the Bluetooth Pairing button with the power button. The action button is used to play, pause, skip, and rewind. One tap to play or pause, two taps to skip, three taps to rewind. It's not the best system, but it works OK.The speaker attaches to my bike via a stretchy silicon strap in the back. You unhook it, wrap it around the bike, and hook it back up. I was not confident at all in this strap, and was pretty sure it would have broken by now. But, I ride two or three times a week and it's been 6 months, and so far so good. Generally speaking, I ride from April to November. If this thing lasts me two riding seasons, I will be very happy. The other thing to mention is that this speaker requires you to install Bose software. I don't think it's very intrusive. It's small, doesn't get in the way, and the speaker quickly connects to my phone without any issues. If that was not the case, I would be very annoyed. But, so far, I haven't been annoyed by it.Edit Summer 2023:I've now owned this speaker for 2.5 years. I only really use it when I'm biking. I bike about 90 minutes a day, about three days a week, about 8 months out of the year. That comes to about 140 hours per year on my bike. The speaker is still in good shape. It looks almost brand new. It works perfectly fine. It sounds as good as ever. And the part of the speaker I was most worried about, the strap, has not failed me yet. If I could give this 6 stars, I would. I'm still very happy with this purchase, and if it ever fails, I will buy a new one from Bose.

Shower, working out in a hotel room, Jujitsu… Did it work?
I have gone back-and-forth about purchasing this speaker for several years. I travel quite a bit for work, and what is something I could keep in my bag for small conference calls, music in the office and I’m not wearing headphones, something to work out within my hotel room and take with me into the shower And use for open jujitsu open mats on Saturdays. The $99 price tag seems like a lot for something I would throw in my bag and use here-and-there. Man, was I wrong! I use the sh** out of this thing!First off - The sound quality (for its size) is excellent. It will fill a hotel room loud enough your neighbors will be disappointed. Hi Jujitsu Studios, about 25‘ x 35‘ with 10-foot ceilings, this little guy has no problems overpowering the screams of my victims.Bluetooth connectivity- I wasn’t thrilled about reading all the reviews about having to have the application to make everything work. However, I’ve heard this without using the application… So I’m not sure what the deal is. I do currently have the application installed, but I don’t use it. I have found that this pairs conveniently to my computer and my phone, and I can switch it back-and-forth by typing a Bluetooth button, which makes it nice when I want to use it to take a quick call via a speaker.Portability - Well, it’s portable. It’s a little bit heavier than you would expect, which is not a bad thing in my opinion. And the little strap on the back (that I thought was Tuesday) is probably my favorite feature. I clipped to the outside of my bag for day today, and I’ve taken several speaker calls from it in this position. And as you can see in my pictures, it goes with me in the shower so I can hear my morning news... every morning.Battery life – Battery life is not bad; it’s rented it for hours; I would say I get a little bit more than that. It charges quickly and fixes my expectation just fine. Like my Bose 700s that I use in the focus mode, I charge these products once a week.Cool features - I love that you can tap the middle button to pause or hold the center button to activate Siri/voice assistant. I’m always using this features to capture reminders of things I need to do (especially in the shower). What don’t I like- USB micro… Given that everything in my life has switched to US PC, I would’ve loved to of seen this got a mid-production update to USB-C, but I’m tapping into my list of first World problems here.

Great sound and size
Great portable speaker that sounds bigger than its size. Easy to Bluetooth. Long lasting battery.

Reliable Shower Speaker Worth the Splurge
It's exceedingly rare that I splurge, but this time I'm glad I did. I was looking for a shower speaker so I'd stop getting distracted singing in and out of the shower, when I decided to pick up this outdoor speaker. It's held up very well just outside my shower for what must be no less than a hundred showers, has survived a couple unintended dips, and is currently directly in my new shower, and not once have I noticed a drop in audio quality, which is great by the way! While the app helps, it's not a requirement after initial setup, and I'm not sure it's even required for setup. This speaker's battery last about 7-10 hours on and off, I'd say, and while the bluetooth range isn't impressive (I'd say about 20-25 feet indoors), that is also taking into account the fact that I'm showering while using this. The back strap is a little awkward to get used to, but lets you attach the speaker to anything from a shower rack to the back of a bag.Overall, I take this speaker for granted. I love dubstep, and the bass on this speaker never disappoints. This is the best value I've ever gotten out of the purchase of any audio peripheral, and I'd likely buy this again if I was in the market for a new shower speaker, possibly without considering any other options first.

Good; but not Bose quality good!!!
Nice; but the beautiful Bose sound, and clarity not as good as I expected a Bose item to sound.
