One box lasts about a year!
I have tried just about every diaper pail on the market and the dekor plus is the only one that truly traps in odor. These bags are easy to use and SO convenient because if you really can’t take the bag out as soon as it’s full, you have wiggle room and can let the bag out while still filling it up. This box lasted me about 10 months with twins and now that I have another baby, it lasted another 10 months with 3 babies in diapers (but I have two of these diaper pails). You definitely get your moneys worth out of one box! The scent hides the smell but I will say once it’s full of diapers, you can smell them if that trap door is open and you’re standing close. Baby poop is a certain kind of smell but TODDLER poop is a whole other ball game. So once they’re eating real food, keeping up the throwing the full bag out is key to making sure the room doesn’t smell. But like I said, you’re not forced to take out the bag as soon as it’s full because it’s one continuous bag. With 3 babies, I couldn’t always just take out the diaper bag once it was full. So it was nice to be able to get to the end of the day before I had a chance to throw out the full bag.

Excellent Product
This is an excellent product for being both functional and biodegradable. We use Seventh Generation diapers and the biodegradable bag means that they will degrade sooner to expose the diapers to biodegradation sooner. We use biodegradable trash bags as well. Composting or flushing the diapers is not an option as we live in the city. We really love the lack of plastic smell with the biodegradable diapers. The normal liners have a strong perfume smell to mask the smell of the diapers. The less perfume and dyes the better. The bags have never broken. We put our diaper pales in the guest bathrooms on the first and second floors of the house that both have high throughput Panasonic fans. The smell is only a minor issue. We could never understand why people put diapers pales in bedrooms. We only buy these bags now.

Simple and green
This is for the Diaper Dekor PLUS, as so many have said. Luckily, I bought the Dekor on Amazon, so I was able to go into my order history and see which one I had bought. This is a very easy system to use and the refills are great. Easy to install and strong enough to hold a giant load of diapers, for sure. Not sure what problem people are having with odors. We find the Dekor system pretty tight; if you are -super- slow getting the diaper through the swinging door, you'll get a little whiff, but it isn't hard to avoid, and we don't have any issues with an overall smell in the room at all I like that they are biodegradable; we use liners that break down, so the whole thing should fall apart in the landfill...and even if you use regular disposables, when you see how much plastic a bag or two is made of, isn't that a LITTLE step worth taking, keeping some plastic out of the environment?

Good choice for any nursery
I like the Dekor pail because you can cut the bags to fit your needs. If your baby is having an especially stinky day, you can make a small bag for a few diapers, so you aren't wasting as much plastic, and avoid odors in the nursery. I like that these are biodegradable so it feels like I'm making a better choice for the environment. The refills have a mark letting you know when it is about to run out but they last for about a month and a half with my seven month old.

Easy to use. Not a pain to empty n re-line.
I didn’t notice any scent, just plasticky smell. I like that it’s one long roll, up to me when to empty the bin- daily(less roll used) or every few days(when the bin is full to the brim). The quality is very good. I’ve not had any issues with it.

I LOVE THESE!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you for making a biodegradable option!!
I am not sure what the unhappy reviewers are so cranky about. I think these bags are great. 1. I used the non-biodegradable liners first, then these. I did not notice any difference in how stinky they get, and I would have noticed by now. 2. I read a couple of ignorant comments about how it doesn't make a difference if you use a biodegradable liner if the diapers you are disposing of are not biodegradable. IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Conventional plastic bags are estimated to break down in 500-1000 years. When they do, they photo-degrade into microscopic granules which, themselves, are not usable by our natural ecosystems and add chemical pollution to our land and air. Biodegradable products generally break down to components that can be re-used by organisms in our ecosystems in one way or another or, at the very least, won't add to pollution levels. So wherever you can choose a biodegradable option, you are reducing the ultimate amount of bulk in our landfills and reducing the long-term pollution that our children and grandchildren will have to suffer from. Furthermore, the sooner the bag breaks down, the sooner the diaper can breakdown; wherever you can use non-chlorinated or biodegradable diaper options, so much the better. (One option that has worked great for me is "G Diapers"; I recommend checking them out. And there are other brands, if that one doesn't float your boat.) 3. As parents of small children who wear diapers, I think we all have a responsibility to stretch as far as we can to responsibly dispose of the waste we are generating with disposable diaper products. (18 billion disposable diapers were used annually in the U.S. a decade ago, so we can assume it's higher now.) I haven't done the price comparison but, in general, if that does mean spending a little more for biodegradable items, I think we owe it to ourselves and our kids to choose those options. I would encourage thinking of it as a "convenience tax", since we are not opting to use washable, re-usable diaper services. I want to thank the Diaper Dekor folks for making biodegradability an option for parents who are concerned about pollution and sustainability. (My only frustration is that the different sizes of the pails is not clearly noted on the pail itself so I have ended up with the wrong sized pail liners twice now.)

Love the system, has been great. BUT these biodegradable ones are thin, expensive and don't contain the smell. The normal liners work well and contain smells for a full bag, these ones lucky if it contains the smell of one diaper.

Son algo caras pero es el mejor cesto de pañales que hay. No deja salir olores por su doble tapa. Vale la pena el alto costo por la calidad y funcionalidad del cesto.

Excellent. Very easy to install and has instructions on each new pack just in case. Keeps the smell in. My baby is 3 months old and I have only gone through 2 refills.
