Beetles Builder Gel for Nails with Gel Base and Top Coat Set 3Pcs

I bought this Beetles base coat and top coat set for doing my nails at home, and overall I’m happy with it. The base coat goes on smoothly and helps the gel polish stay in place better. The top coat gives a really nice shiny finish and makes my nails look more polished, almost like I went to a salon. I like that it is no-wipe because it saves time and makes the process easier. It also cures well under my LED nail lamp, and the bottles are a good size for the price. I used it for my manicure, and my nails looked glossy and clean after applying it. I gave it 4 stars because it works well, but I feel like the lasting power can depend on how well you prep your nails. If I rush or don’t prep properly, it can lift sooner than expected. But when I take my time and apply it correctly, it lasts much better. Overall, this is a good set for at-home gel nails. I would buy it again and recommend it for anyone who wants an affordable base and top coat with a nice shine.

I really liked this base and top coat set. The base applies smoothly and the top coat gives a beautiful glossy finish. It cures well under the lamp and is easy to use. My gel polish looks more professional and lasts much better. I would definitely buy it again.

I cannot say enough good things about this product. I wish there was a way to give it more than 5 stars to fully emphasize how much I love it. I work on a horse farm and have a few horses of my own. My nails have also been incredibly thin and easy to end of break. Because of this I have always had uneven and short nails as they were constantly breaking no matter what I did. I tried the semi-cured stickers and press-on's but those never seemed to last. They would work for a week or so before they started lifting and fell off. This stuff lasts me over 3 weeks and it finally redo the nails, not because the builder get is falling off but because I have to fill in the regrowth at my nail beds! I will say the "soak off" feature is not quick and fool proof. I have read a lot of advice pages and watched a lot of videos before trying this. I file off as much of the builder gel until I think I am pretty close to my natural nail. Then I soak it for a while, generally 10+ minutes. It does not completely scrap right off after that and if I am not careful it will pull up some of my nail if I try to force it to scrape off. One of the best things you can do is watch lots of videos on technique of the application. I found lots of videos that explained how to get the proper shape/apex and smooth finish rather than the wavy finish you get if it is not laid smooth. The first time or two was a learning curve for sure. I had to remind myself that I am not "on the clock" it does not cure until you use the UV light so if it needs adjusted before that, do it! It is extremely easy to use and finishes very nicely once you get the hand of it! First I buff my nails and use nail polish remover or isopropyl alcohol to dehydrate the nails. Then I used the base coat and cure it. Then add a "slip" layer of the builder gel. DO NOT CURE. before curing that, add a bead of builder gel, starting at the cuticle and pulling it out in a semi circle towards the end of your nail. I hold my nail upside down to allow it to level. If you need it to move one way or the other, just hold you nail one way or the other and let gravity do the work! After that I cure it for 60-90 seconds. I read that one way to reduce lifting of the builder gel is to file at an angle under the builder gel to file the natural nail. I do that and then if i need to I use nail polish remover to get any dust off the stickiness of the builder gel. I also read somewhere that it can be recommended to use the same brand gel color as the brand if the base coat, builder gel, and top coat. I ordered a pack of a few different beetles gel polish colors and apply one of those next. I cure it. Then I apply top gel and cure that. I have been learning a lot and by no means am I a professional but I watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles to get some of the techniques which really helped! The polish looks sturdy and shiny, I generally apply a color but the clear is also perfect for adding strength and shine to your nails!

I’m really happy with this builder gel. It’s the first time I’ve used it although I have a little experience with dip and acrylics I can’t afford to go to the salon but I really like having strong nails because they keep me from biting and picking. Application is pretty straightforward, just watch some YouTube videos. The self leveling is great for getting a smooth surface. It takes some practice and I’m still pretty slow but I’m happy with the results and durability. Last set lasted almost 3 weeks. I noticed it takes a while to cure, don’t skimp on lamp time. If you do you will have a weak layer that causes the gel to lift off and peel. Part of it is being careful to not go too thick. I shape a little when I’m done with the builder portion, I wipe with a little acetone to take off the tacky layer. I finished them with Beetles gel polish. Love the look, almost professional, and if I can get away with doing them only every 3 weeks it’s worth the extra time.

I bought them to prep my nails before applying gel, and I really like them. They’re easy to use, dry quickly, and I feel like they help the polish adhere better and last longer. The two bottles are also a good size.

I really like this base and top coat set. They’re easy to apply and leave my nails with a nice, shiny finish. The consistency feels good, and I didn’t have any issues applying them. I also like that both products come together, which makes doing my nails at home more convenient. For the price, I think it’s a great option, and I’m happy with my purchase.

Works fine, remembering not to get any on cuticles or skin and to cure it with a proper lamp or else you're putting yourself at risk.

Does a great job! The bottom coat is pretty good and gives good longevity on nails. I also love the glossiness the top coat gives! They also cute very well under UV lamp.

I really recommend it guys it dry so fast and it’s a very good quality
