I added this pump to work as my step-down pump in the bilge in the cabin of my Sea Ray Sundancer 260. Three months in and it works pretty well. The automatic and manual functions work exactly as expected.My only critique is that the float does not trigger until the pump is completely submerged. I fixed that by gorilla gluing a piece of styrofoam to the bottom of the float. Now the float triggers where I like (when it's just over 2/3rds submerged).When it pumps, it moves water pretty fast and easily keeps up with our shower when it is running.

Using this for bilge pump in a little 16 footer. Works great for the purpose, and will move a lot of water. It was relatively easy to wire and pipe.I recommend a separate power cut off, unless you disconnect your battery every time you trailer.

Float and switch not reliable
I bought this pump last fall (2022) for use this season. I installed it March of this year. 3 times now I arrived at my dock to find a flooded boat. Each time I gave the pump and gentle tap and it worked as normal. It pumps water great. I'm going with another brand since I can't trust it. Shame for a brand new pump.

Nice Bilge Pump
I used this product as part of an above ground sump pump system in a home in conjunction with another pump as a back up. So far it has worked very well and it is able to provide enough pressure to discharge water several feet from the installation. This is an unusual use for a marine pump but it did the job.

Good pump
Used in a small aluminum row boat. Does not get a lot of use, so I assume it will last for several years.

Simply doesn’t work on automatic and boat fills with water when it rains!
Had this fitted by a boat electrician but the float has never worked so when it rains the boat fills up and I have to pump it out. It works on manual but not automatic. Amazon’s faulty returns policy is complicated and means I would have to be without a pump whilst I return it and wait for them to decide if they will mend or replace - obviously this isn’t an option so I will lose £39!
