Roland Rough Cut Demerara Sugar Cubes - 17.6 oz

I’ve been using this brand for several years now and I can’t imagine using anything else. The bags are always fresh, the sugar is consistently delicious and I love that the cubes are all different sizes. It’s great quality, a perfect texture and it dissolves easily. Excellent!

I have purchased this sugar since 2019. The taste is excellent, not as sweet as refined sugar. There are different sized cubes, which actually makes it fun to find a combination to suit your taste. The cubes dissolve easily while making coffee.

We have been ordering this sugar cubes for about a year. Most often we use them in black tea and coffee, which adds a little more flavor than white sugar but doesn't change the overall taste. We had been ordering another brand of demerara sugar cubes but when I actually did the math these were much less expensive. It comes with four individual boxes with sealed plastic bags to keep the sugar fresh. The cubes are not perfect squares, they look more natural the the exact cubes of white sugar. You won't be disappointed if you get these.

I've been a fan of Teavana rock sugar since I started drinking their teas two years ago. However, when my supply got very low and went on their site to order more sugar, I found that it was out of stock. So, I came to Amazon to find a replacement. Based on the other reviews, I decided to purchase these sugar cubes as a replacement until I was able to get more rock sugar. I do not regret my decision. There is no distinction between the Teavana rock sugar and the Demerara sugar cubes, as far as taste and quality goes. I brew both iced and hot teas, and the cubes add a wonderful sweetness to both. As far as the price is concerned, I'm considering switching to the Demerara because I get more product for my money. Teavana charges $25.50 for three pounds, while you pay $28 for six pounds for the Demerara. The sugar comes in six boxes that are shrink-wrapped together. My package arrived within two days after I ordered it, which also impressed me. I would recommend the Demerara sugar to any tea or coffee drinker.

My friends and I enjoy visiting traditional tea rooms for special occasions. Often they serve tea with brown sugar cubes like these. We like the deeper sweetness of the brown sugar cubes, but not many local grocery stores carry them, only the white sugar, so I found them here on Amazon. The just seem to make that cuppa at home more special. Enjoy.
