Excellent Vaccuum Sealer
This vacuum sealer is an upgrade from one I've had for about 20 years. It's much smaller, and it's compact size saves room in my cabinet. It works extremely well and was easy to use. The only thing missing is the custom bag size-cutter I had on my old model - but that's simple to fix with a pair of scissors and takes an extra 2 seconds that's not going to affect the usefulness or effectiveness of this machine.I highly recommend this vacuum sealer if you're looking for one. It's a little pricier than some, but I found mine on sale and received a very good value for the money. I recommend this sealer for anyone looking for a way to maximize your grocery budget by freezing/placing food items in easily usable portions. It was a fantastic choice for me!

Great product
This is my first purchase of a product like this, so I have no basis for comparison. But as far as I can tell so far, this little guy works great! I used it the day I got it on some steaks and some frozen fruit and veggies. That was about a week ago. Since then, I’ve used it for dividing up and freezing bulk amounts of ground beef. Worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far. The food still looks great in the freezer. The product was easy to use and I love how small it is. I have a small kitchen with little storage space so this size is perfect. I can’t speak to longevity, but I would definitely recommend based on what I’ve seen so far. Great product, great value.

Decent budget vacuum sealer
If you eat food and have a freezer, you need a vacuum sealer. It keeps the food fresher for much, much longer, plus you can use it to prepare food for sous vide cooking, which is a technique well worth adding to your culinary arsenal. This one is pretty basic, but much cheaper than many alternative models. To be fair, it pulls a decent vacuum - about the same as the significantly more expensive, better known brands. It’s a bit fiddly to use - you have to position the cut edge of the bag to the accuracy of a couple of millimeters over the hole in an elongated gasket, and keep it there while you shut the lid and press it firmly down to lock it. With a bit of practice, it’s not that difficult. You then press a button and it turns on the pump, evacuates the bag, and heat seals it. You then have to unclip the top half of the device, by pushing fairly hard on two catches, to remove the bag. It doesn’t draw the bag in, or expel it, or incorporate a guillotine blade to cut bags off a roll. It’s very small, so it’s easy to store and move around. So yes, it’s basic, but does a perfectly respectable job at a very reasonable price.

Lights up, but doesn't do anything
I got this as a birthday present last year, right before going camping with my friends. The trip fell through after two friends caught COVID, and this vacuum sealer has sat in my basement since then. Today, I finally had the chance to try it out on some fish my friend brought me, and everything seemed to be going well. I read the instructions, full of typos as they were, and went to seal the bag, but nothing happened. The lights come on, but there is no vacuuming or sealing, or vacuum sealing together. I tried unplugging and replugging, and switching the fish to another bag in case I just did something wrong. I spent 30 minutes trying to troubleshoot what I could be doing wrong, but I wasn't able to find anything. The machine itself just doesn't work, and I'm now well past the return or support window with a non-functioning machine that cost me $70

Vacuum sealer that does its job at the right price
This is my first vacuum sealer, and I have to say, this little device delivers. I'm sure there are more expensive units out there that have lots of other bells and whistles, but at this price point, this does everything I need, which is suck air out of bags and seal them. There are different settings for wet and dry, but honestly, I just set it in the middle and use that all the time. Works like a charm. If I do want to seal up liquid, it's always because I want to freeze it, so I just freeze it first in the bag, then vacuum seal it once it's frozen.PROS:- Has the functionality that I need: vacuum+seal and seal- Simple to use, hard to mess up- Powerful suction, can't believe how hard my bag of rice becameCONS:- My small gripe – not enough to take a star off – is that it can be a little tricky to get the bag opening lined up just right, but once you figure out a technique, it's a breeze. Tip: fold the lip of the bag down into the vacuum chamber, works much better.

Great compact sealer
This vacuum sealer is a fantastic option for folks with limited space (small kitchens, RVs, etc.). I previously had a larger Food Sealer and eventually stopped using it because it took up too much counter space. It is less automatic (no bag cutter, have to manually align and begin suction, etc.) than a fancier model like the Food Sealer options, but I love that this machine can achieve the same results and can be easily tucked away when I'm done. I have had a pack sealed up for a few weeks now and it has stayed tightly sealed with no apparent air leakage, so I am happy with the product. One note: be sure to make sure it really clicks when locking the bag in. During my first few tries, I assumed I had a defective model because I heard a small click when locking but wasn't getting any suction power. Once I realized I had to lock it in a little harder (it should be a more solid click), I had no issues!

Didn’t work well for me
Maybe I got a dud but this machine didn’t work very well. The instructions it comes with are a very small font and difficult to read. However, they are repeated several times in different places as well as on here. It’s not rocket science and works like any other vacuum sealer. My main issue is the vacuum function. It does not remove all of the air. Ive tried it with dry food, wet food, different settings, etc… and the food in the bag still has room to move around. My old Seal A Meal suctioned every molecule of air so I know how it should be functioning but this doesn’t get the job done. Again, maybe it’s just the machine I received. The seal function is alright. I do have it seal twice as I noticed sometimes it doesn’t seal that great. Will likely return as it’s not worth the hassle and end up spending more money for a Food Saver or Seal A Meal brand.
