Q: Would these bags work well for acrylic painting on them?

I do not use these for applying acrylic paint, however, I believe they would suit that need. It is a nicely woven canvas. I routinely put 10+ lbs in these bags and they have held up well.

Q: Are these ok for putting heat transfer vinyl? I want to make bags for Teacher Appreciation.

Mine worked well, I did rubber stamps with ink that needed ironing.

Q: Description says 15”x16”, but also 10x12”. Which is it? Also, how wide is the bottom?

Most definitely they don't have any coating or anything on them. I just toss mine in the washer when they get dirty
