Quality for price...
This item worked PERFECTLY to fix my Honda. My 2006 CR-V was getting the VSA dash light and check engine light. I replaced the VTEC solenoid module with this one and the problem was IMMEDIATELY fixed perfectly!!! Also eliminated the rocker arm code and cam code...for $40 and I probably saved a few hundred in labor. Three bolts and two connectors, so SIMPLE!!! All three bolts are 10MM.

Junk
The part is super hard to get to(not the parts fault) but the part only lasted 4 months! It went bad again! I would suggest that you get a quality part unless you want to go through the hell of putting in a new one every couple months.

So far…So good
This has been on my 2008 Honda Element for over 90 days and it continues to work well. The solenoid is not too difficult to install; it’s more of a mind game getting ready to reach in places that you can't see very well and the fear something might break. Just take your time, be patient and you should be successful.
