High quality multi layer, foam filter. Easy to customize for a tank.
This filter has multiple layers of different types of media to help clean your water very well. It’s quite easy to cut to the size you would like. It works well I would buy it again.

Great for my shrimp & fish tanks!!!
I found the best sponge for filter intake and also used it to place under one of my underground filter boxes. It's super soft, big, and offers great value for money 🥳

Quality Build, Functions as Designed
It is foam, comes vacuum sealed in a small box. You will need to open it, wet it, and let it dry to become full size. Good quality.

Thought it was going to be a larger piece
Aside from feeling this piece of foam should have been at least as long as my yoga mat for this price... the product is very good. I used it to make a diy filter intake cover to pre clean and prevent shrimp and baby guppy fry from getting sucked up as well as to pack my hang on the tank filter along with water polishing media. It works well but every other day I have to take off the intake and clean it because I've had several issues with plants, and food being left over since I had a bunch of pregnant fish at once and was over feeding to make sure they didn't eat my fry.(which wasn't a great idea because the breeding box got gross and 25 out of 30 ended up dying anyway.) Just getting the water back under control after a week of hell between filter, and air pump issues.

Nice product
I have to confess that I thought it was very strange at first. I was concerned that it appeared to be low quality. However, after letting it soak and fully expand, and that took a little while, it turned out to be better quality than what most other cut to size filter media I have used. Good stuff!

Pulling, soaking, and drying foam is not for me!
It takes a fair amount of time and effort to peel the foam apart, stretch it, soak it, and dry it. Unfortunately, this process is not for me.

Follow Instructions - Only One Filter
The foam arrived as a very small vacuum-sealed package, inside a well branded box. The instructions were to remove from the vacuum-sealed bag, carefully unfold foam, soak in warm water to return to normal size, then lay flat to air dry. Worked great. As an aside, all product images show three different foams. However, only the foam that is selected will be included. If you're not sure which foam density to order, this is not a variety pack, and should not be ordered.
