I’ve been searching for a screen protector that provides that satisfying paper-feel, and I’m so glad I found the ESR Paper-Feel Magnetic Screen Protector for my iPad Pro 11. It works perfectly and truly gives the sensation of writing on paper, which is exactly what I was hoping for! The installation was a breeze, and the magnetic attachment is so convenient—it stays securely in place without any issues. The surface has just the right texture for writing, sketching, and even general use. It feels natural under the stylus, and the matte finish helps reduce glare, making it easier to work in different lighting conditions. I’ve used a variety of screen protectors in the past, but none have matched this one for that authentic paper-like feel. High quality, feels JUST like paper to the pen and doesn’t leave any scratches. Since it’s magnetic it’s easy to apply without any bubbles or instructions, but it does have a microscopic gap that fur or hair gets trapped under—but since it’s magnetic, it can just be pulled off and is easy to clean. Very clever reusable screen protector and drawing enhancement. It has a very slight fogginess to it, but that is to be expected from textured screen protectors and again—magnets. Just take it off when you’re not drawing. I bet it could even fit over a tempered glass screen protector too.

I love the feeling of the screen protector, and it's really easy to put on and take off. I have a fairly thick glass screen protector over my iPad but there are no issues with the paper feel screen protector snapping into place. However, with it on, the iPad doesn't pick up on my apple pencil touches. I've tried cleaning my iPad screen as well as the protector, but it doesn't work. As a student who needs to take a lot of notes, this is highly disappointing. Edit 3/14/2023: Customer Service got in contact with me after my review and sent me a replacement protector. New one still sporadically doesn't register, but it is MUCH better than before. Before it wouldn't register at all at certain angle, but now it just stops and then starts again in less than a second. I write for hours at a time, and the issue is small enough that it barely effects my writing. When using for art, not having a paper feel protector is much more preferable in general. So the fact that I can choose to take it on and off far outweighs the minor registration issue. I would highly recommend, as I believe this is the best non-permanent paper feel protector you can buy for a reasonable price. Plus, the customer service is very good.

I got this screen protector after having used a Bersam paper feel screen protector for almost a year. I liked the writing ability of the paper feel screen protectors, but they ruined the display quality of an expensive iPad, so I decided to go back to a glass screen protector. So I searched for some alternatives, and found this. And I’m so glad that I did, because this is an absolute treasure! It has the same look and feel as a Bersem paperfeel protector, and attaches to your iPad easily and strongly and doesn’t fall off! It has no bubbles or anything when installing, you just align it with your iPad screen and press down, and it should attach to the screen magnetically. When you want to take it off, be careful not to take off your original screen protector as well, so look for an edge to this and then slowly remove it. It comes with a nice folder as well to store the screen protector when not in use, which is a great touch. It writes great and draws great as well. For the reviews that say it makes a screeching noise or sound, I had that issue at first too, but the solution I found was to use a cloth and press down on the screen and wipe the whole screen with the cloth. For me at least, that fixed the screeching issue. Overall, I think this is a very well priced screen protector and works perfectly! I would highly recommend it!

It’s been working for me very well, I don’t have Any bubbles because it’s adhering on the two sides of the screen. I don’t see any scratches and I push a little when I draw. So I’m pretty happy with it, I’m a little nervous with if my tip of my pencil is going to start grinding down so I ordered some more just in case!

The feel is nice and there’s no bubbles or any of that issues however, the magnets don’t stick or snap on with enough intensity for me.. i find that its easy to shift. But idk if theres something wrong with mine or since its removable that’s how its supposed to be. Otherwise i really do like it

After using another brand’s paper screen product for awhile, I missed having the full resolution of my iPad Pro 11’s screen. I decided to try out a super thick glass protector (because I wanted more protection for my iPad) and crossed my fingers in hopes that this magnetic paper-feel protector would work when I needed to pull it out for writing or drawing. And, yeah: it works! (Yes, even the preview hover effect with the Apple Pencil 2). The feeling on this one is more of a rough plastic feeling, like I’m etching into a stone tablet. But this actually makes precision writing easier. I haven’t had any issues with the magnets, other than the fact that I have to often ensure that they are in place from time to time. The other downside to something like this is that you have to wipe clean the protector each time you use it or it could affect performance (you don’t want to have crumbs in between your paper-feel and your glass screen). It’s nice that they give you a little folder to hold the protector too. All-in-all, this is probably the best solution for those who want the best of both worlds, even if it might not be right for someone who uses their tablet’s pencil 90% of the time. 5/5

This was a really good case to test out a paper like screen protector. I really like that it came off because it was magnetic, it really easy to put on and take off. It does not have a single scratch after months of using it.

Eu comprei o iPad usado e já veio com a Paperlike, que eu detestei e tirei logo nos primeiros dias. Já essa película é ótima! Não atrapalha a visualização de vídeos (comparando com outras do mesmo tipo), é menos áspera, então supre o efeito de “papel” sem o barulho irritante característico e, por ser magnética e não depender de adesivo, tem risco zero de dar bolhas ou grudar em cima de sujeiras que sempre aparecem no último segundo da aplicação da película (quem tem gatos sabe como é). Vou deixar direto no iPad, mas achei legal que no pacote vem uma capa transparente pra guardar.

I purchased this for my iPad Pro 2018, yes after somany years I finally bought it, I never knew such magnetic detachable sheets were available. I used to write on iPad but never used to enjoy it because of the smooth surface. After installing this product I really loved to write on my ipad, a very good decision.Highly recommend this product and you can’t go wrong with ESR brand. One important thing to note you might feel the edges of skin protector when swiping Horizontally.

Simple magnetic attachment. Simple to remove as well. Find i leave it on full time as it cuts glare down. Don’t notice any major quality change in watching Netflix etc. Great to write on and glad I purchased as I feel it protects the glass protector when using Apple Pencil a lot. Happy with purchase.
