4-wire
I couldn't match up my original but it was 4 wire so I ordered it and it worked. Saved a 25 year old fan that i loved in my bed room.

Very inexpensive fix for expensive fans. Took less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
Saved us over $250 for a new fan.Quick and easy option for repairing damage motor capacitors. Took 5 minutes to disassemble the fan, 10 minutes or so to connect, solder and seal the wires. Had the fan back in place and fully operational in less than half an hour for every thing.Great cost saving repair for Hunter fans.

It works!
Good capacitor to repair my ceiling fan that shorted and went into high-speed mode. Works great. My only reason for not giving it 5-stars is that the laser printing on the side is so light that it's nearly invisible. Good thing the wiring color codes matched. So if your fan is running at high speed and won't slow down. This is the most likely cause.This new capacitor tested perfect for value (5 Mfd.) and ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance). So I'm confident that it's a quality part.

I guess they work right
These fit my Hunter ceiling fans. I'm not sure I can tell a difference between the medium and low speeds on my fan blades, but I'll keep an eye on it.
